I don't think people will change their views even if they are

Your suggestion is good as far as the treatment, but here Mrs. V is not expressing jealousy towards the boys, if a guy has skin problems, somehow he gets married, but if a girl has a problem, no man wants to marry her, there is a lot of disparity, she merely pointed that girls are affected more than boys, so where does the question of Jealousy arise, I think you read too much into it..

with a prune face and she had come to the temple in chudidar.
She was saying in an annoyed and annoying tone,
"I did not bring any sari with me. I did not know that was a
temple in the colony!".
Inferences:
She wears ONLY chudidhars all the time - for whatever reason
she only knows.
She would wear a sari ONLY while going to a temple.
Again the same request....
No hasty inferences and projections and
hwell:s !!!
