I enjoy singing it much more, after the visit of my lovely, loving granddaughter.

When I think of krishna , I have the following images

1.krishna , the lover of Radha and devotion of Meera towards him

2. Krishna upadesam for Arjuna starting -what have you brought into this world which you are

going to take away ...etc a gorakhpur press publication in english ,hindi ,tamil hanging on walls

of many homes

3 NTR playing Krishna , tellling Karna -vanjagan kannada , varuvathai ethir kollada in film Karna played by shivaji ganesan.

I sincerely hope not. Both my DIL and SIL are iyers . so we are well united on family front .

only no one is named balakrishnan. It is strange ,is it not , other krishna names are vaisnavite names and not this one .

All balakrishnans I know are nice gentlemen . I had one tamil teacher in school , two colleagues in office bearing that name.

now this original bala krishna RRJi loves and adores...

bharathi has written lots of songs on krishna .

even AR rehman has composed one nice devotional in lagaan which I adore

jesudass has got quite a few . he is influenced by guruvayurappan .

even naushad composer and shakeel badayuni lyricist have produced a gem -madhuban me raadhika naache re , giridhar ki muraliya baaje re in film Kohinoor

even people practicising other religions are attracted by krishna , who has an universal appeal it appears

Nope! I dont think of God as a Lover..for me God =Brahman.

Krishna is Purusha and Radha is Prakirti..the eternal love that maintains the cosmos..there is no lust in that.

BTW I fancy Ravana as the most impressive person that had walked this world.He broke all rules..he did not care what the world thought of him.

Most interesting Deva for me is Yama.

Dream man in a human level is NCIS special agent Gibbs!

Just now I finished watching Mahabharat, Tamil version.

Today's scene concluded with Draupadi's wedding. I was wondering how they are going to show this event!

First, she exchanges garlands with Yudhisthira, in front of hOma agni; then enters the fire and comes back again.

Vyasa says that she is a virgin now and can marry Bhima. She exchanges garlands with Bhima. Episode ended today!

So, in the similar way, she will marry the other three brothers too. right?
