Funny song with a story of mine. My husband took me to this movie while I was objecting to go to this movie because all my college friends were going to the new movie at that time. Any way my dear hubby took me to this movie, made me sit in the front bar of the bicycle (which I enjoyed). However, I went with him angrily. Well, once I saw this song in the movie I kept laughing and laughing.... I was even angrier with him because he didn’t tell me that it would be funny. We still laugh about the whole episode.

When I first met my wife she was 16. She had no idea about anything. She said she was in love with me, but she had no clue what was involved further. When we met on regular basis in the village, I used to give her a copy of 'Reader's Digest' and ask her to read that. ( I used to read a lot in those days). She would sincerely read for couple of hours and go home! She was so innocent, sometimes she fell asleep in my lap like this too! This scene happens sometimes even now anyway.

It was the time we set up our 'home' in Gummidipoondi. We were staying in a place called 'Kaattuk Kollai'. Some of the workmates said " are you sure to live there? Only recently two murders took place in that area! Those guys cut first and talk later!.." The house was the most unique... it did not have the main door either! But our life was just glorious there. One of the songs we used to enjoy in those times ......

Here is a beautiful song from Padheyam directed by Bharathan and starring Mammooty and Chippy. This film deals with the relationship between father and daughter.

Words from so many languages are made into a bouquet to present love in this lovely song from Nanban. The voice of Vijay Prakash and Chinmayi go together in a sweet manner like those lovely tulips. Harris Jeyaraj and Madan Karki blend words and notes so well and have made this song my favourite for quiet some time. Every time I listen to this song I smile and listen fully to it. The use of instruments is fantastic and rhythmic.
