We seek to reform/correct/ adjust/ advice the person

hoping to make him a better human being.

Man has the sixth sense which a lion and a deer do not have.

மிக மிகப் பெரியவன் ஆயினும் உவந்து,
மிக மிகச் சிறியதையும் ஏற்பான் அவன்.
பாமரர், தாழ்ந்தவர் எனும்படியோ,
பண்டிதர், உயர்ந்தவர் எனும்படியோ,

ஆண் மகன், பெண் மகள் எனும்படியோ,
அறிஞன், அறிவிலி எனும்படியோ,
ஆண்டவன் பாரான் பேதங்களையே;
அனைவரும் சமமே அவன் பார்வையிலே!

நாம் அனைவரும் அவன் குழந்தைகளே;
நாம் மறந்தாலும், இதை அவன் மறவான்!
மண்ணில் புரண்ட மகனைக் குளிப்பாட்டும்,
மாதாவைப் போல, நம் பாவம் களைவான்.

ஓரடி வைத்து நாம் அவனை நெருங்கினால்,

பிரபஞ்சத்தில் உள்ள அனைத்தையும் செய்கின்ற பரம்பொருளே!

உன்னைப் போலவே நானும் பொறுமையுடையவனாக இருப்பேன் ஆகுக!

In Hindu religion, cow dung is holy because it is believed that Goddess Lakshmi resides in it. Legend has it that once Goddess Lakshmi was passing through a grassy meadow and happened to see thousands of cows grazing.

Goddess Lakshmi was pleased with the sight and offered them a boon.

The cows were content and they themselves were manifestation of prosperity. Therefore, they did not ask any boon. But Goddess Lakshmi was adamant.

The cows then thought for a while and told Goddess that they should have prosperity in their dung also. Goddess Lakshmi granted the boon.

From that day onwards, cow dung became holy.

This story is noticed in the Anusasana Parva of Mahabharata.
 
The fresh elephant dung is so green, fibrous and not at all bad smelling.
I once slipped on the wet floor and fell down in Guruvaayoor temple.
vizhunthu vizhunthu namaskaaram seithen! :rolleyes:
I did not see the elephant dung heap near where I fell nor did I smell it.
I noticed it only when I tried to get up planting my hand very close to the fresh dung heap.

உலகமெங்கும் நிரவியுள்ளது இன்று.
பெண் உரிமைப் போராட்டம் என்றும்,
பெண் விடுதலைப் போராட்டம் என்றும்,

முதியோர் உரிமைப் போராட்டம் என்றும்,
மாணவர் உரிமைப் போராட்டம் என்றும்,
எண்ண முடியாதபடி போராட்டங்கள்
எங்கிருந்து வருகின்றன? எதற்காக?

தாய் தந்தையரைக் காக்க வேண்டும்
தனயர்கள், என்று சட்டம் இயற்றும்
அவல நிலைக்கு, அரசே தள்ளப்படும்

உரிமை, உரிமை எனக் கூட்டம் கூடி,

Life would be nice and enjoyable if one
- breaks his/her silly ego
- have a mind to forgive quickly
- believe slowly and establish and not at the first instance
- Love everyone truly with internal heart and not outwardly
- Laugh nicely or loudly and not with kallathanam
- never keep away from anything that makes you to smile
 
Try to help others in times of need and do not hurt others feelings/emotions
One has to watch the words and deeds while interacting with others
Try to watch your thought processes too before putting into action
Have always sympathy to others and extend your sweet heart
Never loose your heart if you are unable

ஆடு கின்றில்லை கூத்துடை யான்கழற்கு

அன்பிலை என்புருகிப்

பாடு கிலை பதைப்பதும் செய்கிலை

பணிகிலை பாத மாமலர்

சூடு கின்றிலை சூட்டுகின் றதுமிலை

துணையிலி பிண நெஞ்சே

தேடு கின்றிலை தெருவுதோ றலறிலை

ஜீவபோதத்தில் மூழ்கி இருக்கும் பொழுது, உள்ளே இருக்கும் சிவம் சவம் போல உறங்கி கிடக்கிறது

பரபோததில் மூழ்கி இருக்கும் பொழுது உள்ளே இருக்கும் சிவம் சித் ஸ்வரூபம் ஆகின்றது.

அடுப்புக் கரி கரியாகவே இருக்கும் வெறுமனே கீழே கிடக்கும் வரையில்.

தீயுடன் சேர்க்கும் போது அது தேஜோமயமாக ஒளி விட்டுப் பிரகாசிக்கும்.

மனித மனம் இந்த அடுப்புக் கரியைப் போன்றதே.

உலக விஷயங்களுடன் சேர்ந்தால் சிவத்தை அறிய முடியாது..

பர விஷயங்களுடன் சேர்ந்தால் சிவமயம் ஆகும்!
