The film, Sholay has been recognized for the past three decades for its blog- buster, perfect story and for the good acting. Therefore, the film has been standing more a prototypical to the Indian cinema industry for than any others. It is meant that the story discussion alone takes one year. This the 70 mm movie collected 30 c rupees of its five years duration and this was an achievement at then.

Though, the depictions were copied from various films and have encompassed in this film might create a new trend in the field. For an e.g. the story was owned by the Japanese director Korsakov in his film Seven Samurai- The character sketch of Amitabh and Dharmendra would be reproduced from the film Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. In the entire movie Amitabh played mouth organ would copy from the Sergio Leona’s Once Upon a Time in the West. The slow motion gun fight scenes were in this movie also inspired The Wild Bunch. Even the character of Gabbar Singh also imitates the real dacoit who lived in the Gwalior.

Jupiter Pictures -Madras


I am more than pleased to let the readers, especially when Indian Film Industry is celebrating centenary year, know about the significant contribution made by the film production house called ‘’ Jupiter Pictures’’.... They are the pioneer movie makers, who produced approximately 47 films in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi languages.

Whenever the glory of Tamil cinema is mentioned, we can’t but thank about the contribution made by Jupiter Pictures, who played a significant role in this industry. They have produced the first social movie’’ Menaka’’. They also produced many popular films like ‘’Chandrakantha’’,’’ Bhoolok Rambhai’’,’’Kannagi’’,’’Abhimanu’’, ‘’ Velaikari’’,’’Marmayogi’’,’’Manohara’’,’’ Thangapathumai’’ and ‘’Arasilang Kumari.’’

Mr.Perirarghar Anna and Mr.Kalaighar Karunanidhi (Founders of Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam and ex. Chief Ministers of Tamil Nadu) were introduced by Jupiter Pictures as Story and dialogue writers.

The production house also introduced M.G.Ramchandran (founder of A.I.A.D.M.K and ex. Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu) as Junior Artist. Famous novelist Sandilyan was the backbone of story department. Well known director Sridhar was introduced by them as Assistant Director. They also introduced Kavigar Kannadasan and also N.S.Krishnan.

Founders of the Jupiter Pictures

Somu’s father was a grain merchant at Puthukotai, Keeranur in Tamilnadu. He dispensed with the partnership of his company due to the misunderstanding and started a new mundi shop with the help of S.K. S.K was the working partner in this grain mundi business. After the death of these two partners, the successors Somu and S.K. Habibullah took proper care of the business.

While doing the grain business, they got interested in the movie business. This was the period when the talkies were made. But, their family opposed their idea of getting involved with the movies. However, they ignored their family members’ advice and produced Menaka in 1935 under the banner of ‘’Sri Shanmuganantha Talkie Company’’

The veteran comedian N.S. Krishnan was introduced in this movie ‘Menaka’ and later he became a very popular actor.

Meneka’s blockbuster success encouraged them to produce the movie ‘Chandrakantha’ .This is a social reform story, based on J.R. Rengarajan’s novel. He was a revolutionary writer at that point of time. The Jupiter twins released this bumper hit movie in 1936 under the banner of Jupiter Pictures. In this movie the key role was played by T. R. B. Rao. He was paid highest remuneration for this film. When a search was made for a villain character, T.R.B. Rao, recommended a drama actor Chinnasamy from Pudukotai. Chinasamy was later renamed as P.U. Chinnappa and now we know very well how much fame he got in Tamil Film Industry!

Thereafter these successful twins broke up the partnership and produced two films as a separate group under the same Jupiter Pictures banner. The two films were however failed to achieve success commercially. Later these twins returned to Coimbatore and engaged in the tea business. They earned sufficient income in the tea business and once again started the film ‘Bhuloka Rambai’ along with some friends. This film was released under the banner of ” Vijaya Maruthi Pictures and Sri Shanmuga Pictures” and it became a super hit.

After the tremendous success of this movie, they decided to produce the movies only under the banner of ”Jupiter Pictures”. They approached P. U. Chinnappa for their next movie with slight hesitation because by then he had established himself as a well-known star. However, he extended full cooperation to them and assured them that he would act in three movies continuously under their banner. With this assurance,they took up the work of producing the movie ”Kannagi” with the help of the dialogue writer Elangovan. But, P.U. Chinnappa didn’t agree to act along with the actress Kannaamba as his heroine because he felt that she was taller than him. Moreover, she was older in age. On hearing this, Kanamba approached him and convinced with her pleasing attitude. The rest is history.

Even though the next movie ”Maha Maya” flopped, it gave opportunity to some new actors. M.G. Chakrapani was introduced in this film. While, on the shooting spot P.U. Chinnappa noticed a handsome boy. He was the younger brother of M.G.Chakrapani. P.U.Chinnappa was attracted by his shrewdness and recommended him for some roles. Because of his recommendations, the producers made some changes in the film script to accommodate him. He is none other than the great M.G.R,whr on became the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. At the same time an actor who was wielding the double role as canteen manager and stunt actor of that ”Maha Maya movie” would be known as Sando Cinnapa Thevar later. Thus, this movie gets its pride of place for opening up new avenues for actors.

Evergreen movies like ”Velaikari”, ”Marma Yogi” and ”Manohara” are the capstone of the Jupiter Pictures. Ironically, the Jupiter Pictures have shut their business. But, easily we can say that Tamil cinema’s crowning glory is essentially due to the foundation laid by the one and only ”Jupiter Pictures”...

The buffalo were getting sympathy with the calves, and being of the thoughts of them, they discharge the milk automatically. For this deed the home was wet and muddy. Oh! You wealthy man’s sister! Though the snow has poured on our heads, we are holding your entrance gate. By the reasonable Dharma- anger the Rama who killed the Ravana, who is the king of the Lanka which situated in the South. Though we are singing and praising of Him, He, who is the Lord Rama, and who is sweet to the devotees’ soul while thinking about Him, even though you are still remains dumb. While, all the devotees are in awakening why you only in the soundest sleep? Oh! You, dame wide-awake.

Rithu’s Kitchen

APPLE HALWA

MAIN INGREDIENTS:
•
Red Apple (Big size ) - 3
•Sugar -1 1/2 cup (Add as per taste)
•Ghee - 4 tablespoons...
•Cashewnuts - 7 (cut into small pieces)
•Cardamon Powder - 1/2 teaspoon
•Orange red color - A few drops

PREPARATIONS:
•
Wash the apples and wipe it. Peel the skin and remove the seeds. Cut it into medium size pieces. Put it in a mixie and grind it to a fine pulp.
•Heat one tablespoon of ghee In a thick bottomed vessel or non- stick pan and fry the cashewnuts
•Remove it and keep it aside. Put the remaining Ghee and add apple pulp.
•Sort it until the water content is evaporated and becomes slightly thick. It takes 15 to 17 minutes
•Add sugar to the thickened apple pulp and mix well. Add food color and stir continuously till the ghee leaves the side
•Immediately switch of the flame and change to another place(or it becomes very chewy)
•Now add fried cashewnuts and cardamon powder
•Transfer to greased bowl and serve when ready

Diksitars’ vs Tamilnadu government HR&CE

The cherished verdict comes from the SC on Monday about the century -old conflict between Tamilnadu government and the Dikshitars. This remarkable victory of the Dikshitars for managing of the Chidanmaram Natarajar Temple has been clearly proved by the SC verdicts. The Executive Officer was appointed by the government... for manage the temple and its properties were now terminated by this SC verdict.

This particular sue where eyed by the India for the past five years brings unbroken lines against the HR&CE Tamilnadu. For quashing of the Madras High Court single judge’s order, SC hoists a light to the devotees as well as to the Chidambaram Diksitars life.
SC is clearly quoting that there is ‘denomination factors’ which would be favored to the applets. This means that no rights to the government to interfere in the ‘Religious Sentiments and Believes’

One could not imagine what will be the cost to the public, if the government successes in its contest as against the priests! Need not to say that the officials and the politicians rewarded the ‘corruption’ to the people.

Chidambaram Nataraja temple

The century old issue of Chidambaram Nataraja temple and its property managements were vehemently argued in the courts and by the historians has been coming to an end by the SC verdicts.
Enormous records were shown from the both sides historians and by the juries for substantiating their arguments as that the Chidambaram Natrajar temple is denominated one or not. (Partly or fully secularism) Even though, the issue has been comes to an end by the SC verdicts on Monday still the struggling is going on.

Assuming the Dikshitars office was in the temple administrations started only from the beginning of 16 the century alone. But, here, we have concrete evidences that the ‘Lingam’ worship had been prevailing since the Sindhu civilization 3000 BC. According to the Airavatham Mahadevan, a well-known historian evidenced sturdily that the Tamil was considered a language in worshiping of the Linga on that period not for the Sanskrit.
Further, he adds that there is no evidence to prove that the Sanskrit would behold in rituals. The conflict between the Tamilnadu government and the Diksitars are not only the administrations of the temple but, this would be having of the rights in the ritual language. Which means, whether the consecration language could be in Tamil or in Sanskrit?

We have strong evidences that the Sanskrit was implied as a ritual language in temples, only in Pallava period. The Pallava dynasty existed between the 2nd and 9th centuries CE. But, the Tamil has a rich heritage and proud of its good-old patronage has said from the Sindhu civilization 3000 BC.

WORLD FAMOUS ALANGANALLUR JALLI KATTU

Even though there is some realistic statement in this, the question remains, are they having the rights to owned the country too, if though they have bought some pieces of grounds in that land?

The National Politics were entirely different from our Tamilnadu politics. So far the poll predictions were favored to the BJP, whether this would be genuine or not. In my opinion, the media are trying to boost Modi’s image abnormally, by their unbelievable tales and gimmicks, whether he, Mr. Modi or his party BJP is really suitable for this or not!

Nevertheless, we could not easily brush aside the performances of BJP, such as laid the four way lane (NH 7 road) under the leadership of Mr. Vajpayee. Even though, these achievements are really going to help the ‘Namo Tea Shop’? This will be ignited in this election

Nevertheless, this election will pass away to show one thing.

That is no national party standing on own in this 2014 Parliamentary fray, means they couldn't form the government without asking the support from the outsiders. If this situation arises the state parties might get their rewards.

Every individual owns a right to choose their candidate for their representation in the Parliament and Assembly.
Indian constitution directs the common people to select their representatives and by this it gives a chance to rack up their rights tin the houses.
We know our Indian parliament is based on the England parliamentary methods.
In my opinion, the discussions of this system mean whether this would be right or wrong is nearly time consuming
So we should only sweep away these unnecessary debates and believe about the results right at once.
No political leaders exempt from corruption, except Kalainghar.
By this time I want to say we are also intruding them to do corrupt by the way of bargain the votes.
Every human being should require an oath, as ‘Our vote to DMK’

Mr Shetty based in Bangalore having an inn at Seligman,California... Seligman is a historical village on the Las Angeles highway. We stayed at that night in his motel inn. In the morning we saw many shops. Interestingly, they preserved the village as where, in the condition since 150 years... we saw the very old smoke shop, Mexican restaurants and gas stations where reflects 150 year history. Mr. Shetty is a nice gentleman and he is very kind to me. His mother tongue is Thulu.
