I was not speaking of the present days.
I could not peak under the stone statue and the paintings of Indus Valley Civilization terracotta.

at times!! :)

Whether people wear Petticoat or not I have noted many elderly ladies who wear saree and petticoat usually do not wear undergarments!...noted when I do routine examination on some.

I guess sarees wont blow up like this

..so they are very confident to roam around without undies!LOL

Actually I always feel most Indians neglect the importance of proper undergarments.

You see we would never know when we will end up dead or when we might have a chance to have a shot.....so at least make sure we have good undergarments on for all occasions...even if we land in the morgue at least we looked presentable!LOL

How about this saree?

"
Navratna stones and gold embroidery- Chennai Silks used all that and more to weave the 'Vivaah Patu',

the most expensive silk sari in the world at Rs.40 lakhs and entered the Guinness World Records."

The most elegant saris are worn by Air India/Indian Airlines Airhostesses...Other Airlines have moved to shirt/jacket and skirts

Renukaji,
I am amazed at your comment:

Who died? Who should care about the body? LOL, Is this the new Renuka?

When one is alive, his family members enquire kindly about his
welfare | But when the soul departs from the body, even his wife
runs away in fear of the corpse.

I did not think animals have to care about underwear. (This is a joke that you can understand only in your previous avatar).
I agree with your statement that one should wear clean underwear everyday, as you may end up in Emergency room any time.

It should be 'Saris are worn in the most elegant way by A I / I A air-hostesses! :thumb:

The elegance of the saree is unparalleled..Is the elegance on account of the sari or the way it is wrapped (method) or is it on account of the person wearing it...I leave it to user's judgement...But pleasing to the eyes!

I think male members can appreciate what I say!

it is just not for 'death'. if when you get admitted for various reasons, and unable to take off your own clothes, it would be good, to be seen, wearing decent undergarments... pearls of wisdom from mrs K :)

Plump ladies look attractive even if they wear a simple saree which matches their skin colour, since it covers the

two/ three tiers around the waist line! :) Slim girls tend to wear sarees set to low hip to show the curves well!!

Girls wear sarees? Maybe 30 years ago ...

A sari alone does not constitute a sex symbol...It is in combination with the choli..Have you seen the different avatars of Kushbu in the earlier edition of Jackpot program in Jaya TV...There was a crowd, to see her wearing the dashy cholis in flamboyant colors and designs and not for the program per se!
