Greetings.

Our mind is a very strange entity. I don't know about others, but when I listen to a good song, my mind usually records all the other surrounding features along with the song; If it was the intial visual like in a movie or in youtube, the information is more vivid. For example, the following lovely song accompanies subzero temperatures (like minus 25 - minus 30 degree centigrade), thick coat of snow, very quiet evening and the smell of 'uppuma'. ( I was eating Uppuma while I was listening to this song; it was a winter evening in late January in New Market in Ontario, Canada).

When the movie 'Anniyan' was released, I was working and living away from my family, near Toronto, Canada. I and my wife use to exchange song links from 'music india' or 'Raaga' sites. In one of the love letters, I sent the link for this song..... Kumaari song - Anniyan - YouTube

(But in real life, I was more like 'Anniyan' than like 'Ambi'. My wife didn't buy that song though. Instead, she loved this song I sent to my daughter.... Kadhal yaanai song - Anniyan - YouTube).

Once the song was in youtube, I sent the link for this song (not this link though), which she loved....

agreed that jothika is a very pretty girl, but if i were a young bachelor, after seeing this movie mozhi, i would be inclined to search for a wife who cannot speak/hear like us, but has a language of her own.

is it not, like learning german or french, the sign language?

one of the most touching movies of all times. and a very touching song. goes to your heart like a sweet arrow.

That beached ship in the first scene was not removed completely. Waves at Marina hit the shore at an angle... that means, an angular drag in the water. Well, I realsed it only when I was dragged towards that ship wreck. Fortunately for me, I kept my cool, swam into the wreck and got out... I couldn't help but remember that when I watched this song..

I remember searching for the youtube video link of 'Unakkaga Ellam Unakkaga' sometime ago and was disappointed not to find it. I am so glad that someone has uploaded it and you posting it here!
