Come Elections and Film stars, Sports/TV personalities are in demand for campaigning and contesting elections. All political outfits, in an attempt to win seats looks to en-cash the popularity of these Film/TV/Sports personalities to win elections. BJP is all set to feild Actress Roopa Ganguli from North Howra in West Bengal and another Bengali actress, Suman Banerjee from English Bazaar, Malda. Cricketer Lakshmi Rattan Shukla is all set to take on Roopa Ganguli from north Howra, on a TMC ticket. In Kerala also actors Mukerh, Siddique and Jagdish are all set to contest elections on various party tickets. Section of Genuine party works who really worked hard for the party and deserved tickets, seems to be unhappy with these decisions.
