That is the best part..life is a big party for a Punju...they dont make you feel like an outsider.

I have never met a Punju who says 'We Punjus...this is our culture..this is our food..this is this ..this is that"

All they say is "come join us"

Oh come on, every Bollywood movie mentions "Makki di roti, sarson da saag", they automatically think everybody is salivating for that.

I dont know which roti or saag you are talking about..but when you want maximum action in a party...the life wire is always a Punju!

I have a theory why panjus ar the way they are.

it is because of partition.

Most of the families lost everything they had and had to start life from scratch again.

that built in them the enterprise spirit besides living life to the full without a care for what the next day will bring for

them. they have an attitude that they can rebuild their ife anytime since they have gone through it once before.

they cope better with hardships and have self survival instincts.

they respect no laws and rules as they know they matter little when it comes to survival.

Tamils do not seem to be qualifying on any triple package characteristics

are we not good enough ?

a few caste groups may consider themselves superior to others. but they are poor business men.only a few castes

are good at business

they are poor spenders and easily satisfied.they do not hunger to make it big.

hence they are the way they are

atleast in tamilnadu those with enterprise are NBs mostly nadars, chettiars. there are many from andhra

reddies, marwadis, gujerathis settled here who are into business and doing well.

even in films the big guns belong to the south indian communities included above.

they do not act superior to anybody. they are known for their thrift and under played display of wealth.

higher castes only act superior and are not wealthy by any standards
