With the sunshine available for hardly four months in a year, these industrious people produce fresh organic vegetables in their home garden!
A few samples of colorful and safe vegetables produced by my son and daughter in law!

The size of the garden is a mere 10' x 10' !!!
How much of sunlight, soil and space are we wasting in India!!!

Good Tamil Food (without Garlic) is the food to die for. Not all cooking is better than kissing. From some people I have the kiss than their food. Actually I want nothing from some people (no Kiss no cooking).

The produce is mouthwatering.

I can understand Mr.Prasad not liking Garlic... those who love kissing naturally will have aversion for Garlic, With due apologies to Mr.Prasad,(as you must be knowing garlic has the following good qualities as well):(taken from net ofcourse)

  • Garlic acts as an antiseptic & helps in curing the wounds very quickly.
  • One of the health benefits of garlic is that it helps in fighting against various infection & acts against inflammation and infection, including colds, coughs by adding a freshly cut raw clove to food three times a day or take kyolic garlic capsules but raw is always best.

  • Fresh or cooked garlic or 500 mg garlic capsules twice daily helps in lowers down the blood pressure & cardiovascular problems. It increases the levels of high density lipoproteins & reduces harmful cholesterol in the blood & keeps arteries and heart healthy.
  • It thins the blood, reduces clotting and helps in controlling blood pressure and poor circulation.
  • Garlic stimulates the immune system of body & helps in fighting against various diseases.
  • Prevents & relieves chronic bronchitis, respiratory problems, and catarrh.
  • It acts as a nasal decongestant & expectorant.

  • Researcher recommends daily dose of fresh garlic of about 4 gm, equivalent to one or two small cloves for each & every person who wants to keep himself healthy.

Garlic well cooked does not emit its strong odor. So it is safe to indulge in any act!
Prasad Ji..as far as I know Vampires HATE garlic!!LOL

I am not too fond of using garlic and onions in my cooking not becos I do not like the taste but becos I am too lazy to peel onions and garlic.But if someone else peels it for me..I will use it in my cooking.
Ginger is easy to cut,just crush it in the pestle.
