Dislike carries with it a sense of aversion alone whereas the terminology
hate indicates an intense sense than the quote dislike. Normally, it is said
if someone does not like a person, it means that he would not like him. The
person whom someone dislikes may be his/her own relative or a friend for that
matter. Sometimes that person may be his/her brother, family friend, uncle or
aunty, etc. Whereas, if someone hates a person, it means that he/she would
not mind at all if anything happening to him or her. They do not simply care
if something happens to them. At times, they do not even bother to hear about
them. To be very precise, hate represents an emotion, while dislike is not emotion
but only a feeling of mind. In the course of time, dislike may turn into a liking but
hate generally can not be compared with dislike.
