Think it over!

Dear Mrs. VR,

This thread has become an avial with so many disparate contents like proverbs, wise-cracks, non-sanskrit subhAsithams, links for you tube etc. etc. just like some Tamil TV channel catering to cooking, news, mega serials, music, family drama etc. etc.

The title of the thread "Think it over" has become a misnomer. Some of the times the thought process may have to be suspended to enjoy the thread.

May be it is time for you to become a Vyasa and split the thread into four vedas?

Regards,

Dear Mr.Narayan,
I am happy to see you here!:welcome:

You may recall how this thread came into being and how and by whom it was so very aptly named. :)

Since the two threads "Life is like that!" and the "Points to Ponder" bulged to their bursting points

and since I was unable to blog in them any more, this SINGLE thread was started to allow us

to Quote, and to Dote & to Wonder and to Ponder.

In your word I have started serving this aviyal LONG BEFORE Prof N_M started his "Saalmagandhi"

(I am purposely using the wrong spelling since I want the word to be read correctly!)

Very True! Yet YOU WILL BE THINKING as to where to suspend

the thinking process and where not to!!!

So still the purpose of the thread (to make people think) will be upheld!!! :)

I am NOW the grandma of three grandchildren. I have no time like Vyasa to sit and split. :nono:

You are welcome with your own posts(like this one) which will make me as well all the others THINK more!

with warm regards and many thanks,

V.R.

P.S.The YouTube contributions have deeper meaning than just to make people LAUGH and relax.

So you too HAVE to think WHY they are there!

.......... 1. Love is the flower;
2. marriage is the fruit. ..........
Very true! But...

1. Might be like a rose flower with tiny thorns in the stem! :fear:

2. Might be a bitter grapefruit!! :dizzy:

For a healthy lifestyle...the food pyramid recommends 4-5 servings of fruits a day!

So how do you expect anyone to just have 1 single fruit of marriage for a lifetime?LOL

Finnish proverb + Healthy lifestyle = Polyandry. Policy makers should make note of this and make polyandry legal. It should be renewed each year LOL.

This thread sometimes appears like the personal diaries of V R mam and Renu!! :ranger:

You see we need outlets too...where else I can write all my day to day weird happenings with my patients?

Today also I was almost at my wits telling a patient that I do not prescribe the abortion pill!

Then she was asking me tips on how to naturally abort the fetus cos she already has 4 children and not keen for a fifth yet.

I didn't not comment..I told her not abort and then she said "doctor this was not planned..it was an accident..my husband and I are not keen for another baby"

I told her "what accident....ask your husband to apply emergency brakes next time or you have a better sign board to denote NO ENTRY ZONE"

1) a) Who gives the renewal certificate?
b) What should be the qualifications of the certifier?
2) a) What are the conditions for renewal?
b) What are the circumstances for non-renewal or rejection? Can the

circumstance be as simple as: I don't like him/her?
3) How about non-renewal by mutual consent? (hey, let's have some fun staying away?)

1)Central board of Marriages.

2)Certification officer should have been married several times so that he/she knows about marriage and divorces well.

3)Yearly renewal with nominal fee.

4)Any reason is acceptable....

FYI Sir, those channels have very high TRP!!

Most of us in the world are commoners and we will be afraid to attend

sophisticated lecturers which go RIGHT above our heads. :dizzy:

Life is not just jargon of discussing spirituality, maya, god and other things,

which are beyond the ability of human thoughts and words and

which can ONLY be EXPERIENCED at a personal level.

But that does not mean we should not talk about the other ordinary things in life

which are useful in one way or another.

TRP or no TRP, my thread will continue to be the same.

All are cordially :welcome: to share your thoughts and experiences.

Accident CAN happen ONCE
Not five times in sequence.
