Some quotes from Buddha for everyone's reflection :

The tongue like a sharp knife... Kills without drawing blood

Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one who gets burned.

Hatred does not cease by hatred, but only by love; this is the eternal rule.

In a controversy the instant we feel anger we have already ceased striving for the truth, and have begun striving for ourselves.

You will not be punished for your anger, you will be punished by your anger.

Om Peace Peace Peace

All is well that ends well. :)
This is the Renu I know.
Hatred breeds hatred.
Love breeds love.
Exchanging ideas and disagreeing
should not imply hatred or anger! :nono:
Thank you dear Dr. (Daughter?) Renu.
Have a great day today and everyday!!! :thumb:

I was a BLOGGER before I entered this forum.
I am still a blogger and will continue to be one as long as possible.
I have 9 blogs to me credit as on today.
The are called as E books by my fans and readers.
These run to 2317 pages in total.
So nobody need advise me to go and blog since I am already doing it.
With enough courage and honesty you can rather say
"Get lost old lady without showing your true colors!"
My true colors are brown and white. It is not black and white.
My hair and heart are white and my skin is brown.

A separate thread would have solved some of the problems generated. Preferred basic rules are:

1. Thread's focus must be respected and maintained; if the posts create a diversion, the thread owner/ starter has the right to advise the 'deviants' to get back to normal. Of course, threads abandoned by the starter after the first post, for various reasons, including scoring points for new threads.
2. Discussion of personal tragedies and adversities must be kept to a minimum, especially when there is no lasting damage. Too much dwelling and analysis will drive away the sympathisers too. Only the third party stone throwers will benefit as they enjoy the discomfiture and the support they get from the fourth parties. A and B can sort out their differences openly or through pms or fight it out till the end.
3. There is no need to gang up for or against; renukaji has encouraged angry discussions between members in the past; she has also answered eloquently in earlier occasions. Close shave with a sword wielding demented person is definitely a shattering experience; she will need some time to forget the experience. Better to do it alone than being reminded of it 100 times a day.

what is tradition....A tradition is a ritual, belief or object passed down within a society, still maintained in the present, with origins in the past. Traditions can persist and evolve for thousands of years—the word "tradition" itself derives from the Latin tradere or traderer literally meaning to transmit, to hand over, to give for safekeeping. While it is commonly assumed that traditions have ancient history, many traditions have been invented on purpose, whether that be political or cultural, over short periods of time . Now i want to ask all learned people here in forum... 1. why some people here are making big fuss over who is not following traditions. 2. Is everbody in this forum are following all tradition correctly & if not than why single out 1 person. 3. If person is not following all tradition than is he or she criminal or bad character. 4 Why we indians dont value person according to his Karma instead of persons tradition. 5 Are all indians who are following traditions correctlly not criminal or corrupted

Mr. Brahin,
Can you start a new thread on this topic?

Perhaps using words parampariyam and sampradayam instead of tradition will turn the discussion to our land and values.

"Transmit, handover and give for safe keeping", in a locker.

No, I couldnt figure it out - the clues didnt help.
I didnt know whether and how to pursue.
OK Sir! You asked about the forum in which I received a PM from a guest and I had to report about it to the moderators.

It is a ladies forum by name but even gentlemen can become members. I do not wish to give the name straight away. Sri TVK

and I are members there. That is all!!

Everything HAS a price including popularity.

When a well known person does or says something
it reaches far and wide and creates more reactions. :bump2:

If i am going to start new thread than surely all are going to fight over there......lol

Dear Brahin,

Do not worry you can safely start a new thread cos your God Exists thread became the hottest thread!
So you have good luck only.

dear Renu,
Use this weekend to plan the additional safety measures for your clinic :spy:
and for getting out of the trauma of your recent horrid experience. :couch2:

I read this in 'Deepavali' sub forum!

But something worth thinking over...

"Argument is exchange of ignorance while discussion is exchange of intelligence" :thumb:

Ignorance is supposed to be bliss therefore Argument is Bliss!

And all of us were actually indulging in Ananda (Bliss)!LOL
