ஒரு வீட்டுத் திண்ணையில்

ஒரு நாள் ஒருவன் இருந்தான்.

இங்கு கேட்கும் சில வினோதமான ஒலிகளும் ...
அதற்கு என் மனத்தில் தோன்றும் எண்ணங்களும்...

Indian singers are mainly play back singers and most of the while when we hear them sing we are thinking of the scene from the movie.
When we hear Kuch Kuch Hota Hai we are thinking of Shah Rukh Khan & Kajol.
No one is thinking of the singers.

Yesteryear example will be the song Nalamdhana.
When we hear the song we visualize Shivaji Ganesan and Padmini and enjoy that song isn't it?

So since western singers are not play back singers they perform on stage and in music videos to form a lasting impression in our mind.

BTW I wish our play back singers from the south dressed better when they come on stage to preform.
Even the music directors come on stage as if they just had a vibuti abhishekam on their forehead.

Having talent is not enough..one must have showmanship and also be visually captivating to the audience.

I meant people like M.S.S, M.L.V and Sudha Raghunathan (to name a few) who are singers, stage performers and dressed from neck to toe and still get standing ovation even in countries - which know nothing about the infrastructure of Carnatic music or for that matter Hindustani classical music.

Recently lady gaga presented on the stage a lady in labor delivering a baby :doh:
( I did not see it but I read it from a reliable source)

There are half dressed hunks and hulks jumping on the stage with the half dressed singer.

Does it not draw the attention away from the music?

Why this cheap gimmicks???

Showmanship is right!

Ok I like this pic cos it portrays the power to make men can't wait to get their hands on the female but yet the men can't do anything till she says so.
It's like teasing the men and yet you are in control of them.

It is not cheap gimmicks.I like to see sexy singers who look hot and sing well too.
That's a performer.
Music alone is not enough..we need to feed our senses too.
So we need food for the mind(imagination),food for the eyes and food for the ears and whatever which is hungry!!LOL

NEVER underestimate mottai boss hunks
