The sweet that can make miracles happen with kids!!!

A man CAN look into the eyes of woman honestly ONLY
if he hides no dishonest feelings for her in his heart!
We can look into the soul through the eyes.

Sowbagyavathy VR, Greetings.

I thought so too. But I was wrong. I used to look at everyone right in their eyes when I talked. When I started working in the surgical ward, I could see some of the nurses were not too comfortable with me. After gaining confidence with one nurse I asked her for the reason.... she said my eys are piercing and most people are getting uncomfortable with the intensity although I don't stare at them. My eye colour is dark grey/black whic can change shade accordig to the pupil dilation or shrinking. When I went to mental health, it became more important not to unsettle others psychologically. still I am considered 'bossy'... but tolerated!

Cultures.... different cultures! But in this culture, babies and young children love to lock eyes with me; respond most often with a huge smile too! Sowbagyavathy VR, you are talking only about the man's honesty and the lack of it... how about applying the same rule to the women too? Some of the nurses I worked with were not angels and had no hesitation informing me about that either. So, usually at the first instance I normally declare my children's age and my age; deliberately show my baldness and establish I am an old man!

Cheers!

It sometimes pays to look your age and feel your age! :)

Mercury is the best example for cohesion.
Water on glass is a good example for adhesion.

The above concept indicates an important factor. Non attachment is a common factor
in Hinduism, which we notice very common in our day to day life. There is a proverb,
to live like a lotus leaf in the water. A person who lives without any encumbrance of
life, chiefly to keep away from neither attractions nor distractions. Mental bonds only
develop with either objects or attractive things making one to believe - 'without that
men or women cannot live in the world to have absolute happiness'.

and yeah what is it with you guys hiding behind the some fictitious names, are you afraid that someone is going to catch you if you say something, come on! this is a public forum and it is ok for your opinion to be heard, if you don't like something just be diplomatic or say you don't agree with it.. it is always welcome to agree to disagree..

This section of the post together with a few others in the preceding pages (too many pages to review back) concerns my handle, so a little bit of explanation.

1. Familiar names like narayana, siva, krishna, lakshmi etc. are already taken up when one tries to register. So one has to be use modifications such as siva_nataraja, narayana@oppilli, partha#krishna etc. which are, I feel, indignities at the deities names we are named after. And then there are conditions, that it must be greater than 8 characters, but less than 13 etc.

2. When one is registered at more than one web forum, it is most unlikely that the user name registered at one forum will be available at another, so applying the sanskrit word/verb roots modification, one has to resort to 4th, 7th, 10th conjugation etc.

3. It is taxing to have multiple IDs and passwords and to remember them for use in different forums.

4. Here is a real case known to me personally - A young bright fellow was interested in advaita and was contributing articles in the list in his real name. He got a golden employment opportunity. His prospective employer as a part of pre- appointment appraisal ran a check through google/yahoo/microsoft web pages and came across his writings. They concluded that he had "weird" philosophical leanings and he was told that he was not being considered because of his non-conforming beliefs. So there are some dangers for a few.

5. Earlier I used to sign off the messages with my real name, but found that people mostly address by the handle name. So I dropped the practice.

dear zebra ji !
regarding assumed name instead of original name ,i offer my explanation since i am also using proxy name. i use this not to hide my ID and as you said since many persons in my name NARAYANAN and also initila S,
i use guruvayurappan which is also a god name .my close friends were calling me nampungal narayanan, nararanan nambi.gadagina narayananaa, and lostly guruvayurappan since sri sengallipuram ananda rama dlkhidhar used to say narayan, narayana when in GURUVAYUR.in many forum i use the same guruvayurappan or with guruvayurappan .i use id &password combination the same for easy operation since it involves no finacial trasanctions.

In Mahabharatha, there is a saying that how a person can remain rich in thinking
or possess wealth to become rich

a) One should have a good parent
b) One should have a good society
c) One should have a good wife (not only in heart but also in deeds)
d) One should have a good son (who should be useful to the parents but also to him)
e) One should get a good education for developing his life and to earn money
f) One should have children who will listen to elders and act according to their parents wish

Chennai to Frankfurt was not a pleasant lap of the journey.
A tall hefty lady in pants and a shirt and a scowling face sat beside me and her her husband next to her.
She looked down on everyone and everything. I mostly slept through that half of my journey.
Frankfurt to Denver was more interesting since a cute America born Punjabi boy sat next to me.
He was watching movies most of the time but had a pleasant face and a smile. :)
