I NEVER liked the game of cricket for many reasons

1. The monumental waste of human hours in watching and talking about this game.

2. The craze among the kids to play cricket all round the year rather than study forth exam

3. The gambling, match fixing and money spinning done in the game!

4. The projection of the players as gods and semi gods who have dropped from heaven by oversight!

[h=3]Water train reaches Latur, scramble for 'credit' begins[/h] Latur (Maharashtra), Apr. 12 (ANI): The ten railway wagons with five lakh liters of water which left from Miraj Junction railway station yesterday, reached the parched region of Latur in Marathwada region today. On April 8, one of two goods trains carrying 50 wagons of water for drought-affected areas of Latur departed from Kota workshop for Miraj in Pune division. Talking about the scramble for taking credit over the temporary solution to the water crisis in the region, he added that the people really did not care who got the credit for the entire initiative as long as the water reached them.

[h=3]Collision of Indian, Eurasian tectonic plate causing earthquake: Seismologist[/h] New Delhi, Apr. 10 (ANI): Vineet Kumar Gahalaut, a seismologist in the National Geographic Research Institute (NGRI), on Sunday said that the reason behind the tremors which were felt across northern India was due to the collision of Indian tectonic plate with the Eurasian tectonic plate. Terming the earthquake, which occurred in Hidukush Area in Afghanistan, as "friendly tremors", he asserted that these earthquakes have little effect on the Indian subcontinent while added that Pakistan might suffer little damage due to the same.

Earlier, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said that he did not care if the IPL moves out of Maharashtra as water for the people was of utmost priority. In reply, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) secretary Anurag Thakur said shifting IPL matches out of the state could result in a loss of Rs.1 billion to the state exchequer.
