For me a gas cylinder lasts for 60+ days - in spite of the fact that I boil about 3 liters of water for drinking every day and make umpteen side dishes and snacks. My neighbor manages to exhaust a cylinder in about 20 days!

The secret is lighting the stove ONLY after getting everything ready,
using pressure to cook my things at the same time and
simmering the stove ONCE the pressure has been built.

There is a lady in the neighboring block who has made a sankalpam to switch off the gas
ONLY after the cooker makes 108 whistles OR the weight of the cooker takes of on it own!

Ann Charon Rodgers, who used sticks and rocks to fashion a "HELP" plea in a clearing, suffered from exposure but was reported in fair condition when she and her dog were found by authorities on Saturday on a back country road on the Fort Apache Reservation. The Tucson resident was released from the hospital later that evening and reunited with her family, authorities said.

[h=3]Painting found in French attic is $137 mln Caravaggio, say experts[/h] A painting found in the attic of a house in southwest France two years ago was attributed to the Italian master Caravaggio by private French experts who hailed its discovery on Tuesday as a great event in the history of art. It could be worth 120 million euros ($137 million), the Eric Turquin art expert agency said in a statement. The painting is thought to have been painted in Rome in 1604-1605 by Michelangelo Merisi, known as Caravaggio, and is in exceptionally good conditions, Eric Turquin said, despite having been forgotten in the attic for probably more than 150 years.

I  the Kate Effect. She is so simple, so elegant, so soft, so gentle, so friendly, so tall, so slim and so fair! :clap2:

[h=3]Kate Middleton reveals secret of her slim figure to party guest[/h] It wasn’t much of a tip really, but when a bold guest asked the Duchess of Cambridge for the secret to staying slim after giving birth to two children, Kate Middleton sportingly said it was because she was constantly chasing after her two kids. The Duchess of Cambridge has been all smiles during the royal couple’s tour to India — and has occasionally let her hair down to have some fun. Anyone who’s seen photos and videos of Kate playing cricket at the Oval Maidan in Mumbai would testify to that.

[h=3]My success belongs to me, nobody else: Priyanka Chopra[/h] New Delhi, April 13 (IANS) While many people believe that Priyanka Chopra owes her success to her team, the Bollywood actress, who is now a globally recognised face due to her stint in American TV series "Quantico" and soon to release Hollywood film "Baywatch", says that the credit for her work goes "only and solely" to her and nobody else. "I do have a phenomenal team because they handle two continents of my scheduling and more than anything else, they make sure that nobody gets pissed off because I am spread too thin," Priyanka, who was in the Capital for a day to receive her Padma Shri honour from President Pranab Mukherjee, told IANS in a tête-à-tête. "People take credit away from working girls by giving it to somebody else, saying, 'Isko toh banaya hai' (her success has been made by others), but my question is, 'Koi aur kyu nahi bana abhi tak' (Why someone else hasn't made it yet)" Priyanka questioned.

[h=3]Conservative no more! Now unmarried couples can rent a room without any hassle, thanks to this start-up[/h] Back in 2015, almost 40 couples in Mumbai witnessed breach of privacy when the police knocked on the doors of their hotel rooms and detained them on the charges of ‘indecent behaviour in public’. It cannot be denied that unmarried couples often find themselves under the scrutiny of judgemental eyes if looking to rent a room. Owned by Sanchit Sethi, a BITS-Pilani graduate, the 2015 start-up aims to facilitate affordable room-renting services for short as 8-10 hours without any hassles.
