    19-year-old poses as AIIMS-doctor for months to 'hasten sister's treatment'

    In an intriguing case, a 19-year-old Class X pass-out managed to pose as a doctor at AIIMS-Delhi for as long as five months, till he was nabbed Saturday.Police were surprised by his knowledge of medicine as well as doctors at AIIMS.They still aren't sure why Adnan Khurram did it, but suspect he was trying to get faster treatment for his cancer-diagnosed sister.

    A carjacker got in the car, but a 9-year-old in the back seat refused to get out

    A convicted felon is facing charges after deputies say he stole a car at gunpoint from a Sarasota Lowe's with the victim's 9-year-old daughter still inside. Thomas Dustin White was arrested Saturday evening and charged with carjacking, kidnapping, grand theft auto, burglary and two counts of resisting arrest, according to the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office. As of Monday morning, he remained in custody at the Sarasota County jail and was being held without bond. White, 31, is facing additional charges from the sheriff's office and the Sarasota Police Department.     USCIS tightens rules on US citizenship for children born outside America

    The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services today tightened its rules on citizenship requirements for children born outside the country in cases when when at least one of the child's parents already has US citizenship. America's visa regulator USCIS made edits in existing policy and is now mandating that at least one parent should have been physically present in the US for at least 5 years in all cases of children born to a US citizen and a foreign citizen.
