[h=3]Study spots 70 tigers, 180 leopards outside Vidarbha’s tiger reserves[/h]Around 70 adult tigers live outside protected forest areas in Vidarbha, a study by the Wildlife Conservation Trust (WCT) revealed. This has prompted the Maharashtra government to think about a plan to conserve the wildlife in these areas in the next two years. The camera trap study — an enumeration technique that uses heat and motion sensors to detect the movement of wild animals and takes photographs, which was conducted under the WCT-USAID Tiger Matters Programme, between November 2014 and June 2015, also found around 180 adult leopards living in these areas. The project covered an area of 3,975sqkm outside the Tadoba Andhari, Pench, Bor tiger reserves and Tipeshwar Wildlife Sanctuary.

[h=3]Bharti in soup over ‘ beautiful’ comment[/h]AAP leader and former Delhi law minister Somnath Bharti on Tuesday faced flak for his controversial ‘ beautiful women’ remark made in the Delhi Assembly. Dear Mr. Sarang,

There may be more than one reason for this. :bump2:

1. The dress may be so tight that it has to removed by opening up the stitches.

2. The dress (if still in one piece) may fetch a fat sum from a sale/ auction.

3. It may be kept as a memento to show the future generations

how thin the star had been once upon a time! :)

[h=3]Minorities have become majority in Kerala: BJP[/h]The Kerala BJP on Tuesday expressed anxiety over the rapid growth in the minorities’ population in the State. A resolution adopted by a State leadership meet in Kozhikode stated that the minorities had become majority in Kerala and the strength of the Hindu community was shrinking in the society. The party resolution felt that Kerala could become a Muslim-majority State within 25 years. State BJP president V Muraleedharan sought an investigation into the large-scale migration of Muslims from Bangladesh into the State in the garb of migrant workers and the alleged efforts to get them enrolled in the voters’ list.

Oliver Twist ..twisted to suit the present days!

[h=3]Master of heist: This Delhi school taught ATM theft course[/h]Rajiv Sahani was just another Delhi University graduate, teaching at a coaching centre which guaranteed “command over English”. The plot seemed right out of Oliver Twist – ensnared by the crook Fagin who used to teach children to pick pockets. Except that it wasn’t hatched on the cobbled bylanes of 19th-century London, it was in the heart of south Delhi, a stone’s throw away from the famous Lotus Temple. Sahani would pick out the brightest students at the centre, lure them to join him and teach them the tricks of tampering with ATM machines to commit thefts --- a skill he had mastered, police officials told HT.
