But can the patent won over :fencing:

win over the hair loss???

[h=3]India wins patent war on hair loss formula - The Economic Times[/h]NEW DELHI: India scored an important success when it fully protected its traditional knowledge by stalling a leading UK-based laboratory's move to patent a medicinal composition containing turmeric, pine bark and green tea for treating hair loss. The move comes just days after India foiled a similar attempt by US-based consumer goods giant Colgate-Palmolive from patenting a mouthwash formula containing herbal extracts. The vigilance of the Traditional Knowledge Digital Library (TKDL) of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) helped protect the Indian products as the council in its submission to the European Patent Office managed to prove that turmeric, pine bark and green tea were being used as a treatment for hair loss in Indian systems of medicine like Ayurveda and Unani since ancient times.

Eight days after arriving in southern France for what was billed as a three-week luxury vacation, the monarch boarded a flight from Nice airport to the Moroccan city of Tangiers, Alpes-Maritimes region official Philippe Castanet told AFP. "We can assume that the king has ended his stay at Golfe-Juan," Castanet said, referring to the Cote d'Azur town of Vallauris Golfe-Juan where the monarch's luxury holiday villa is located.

WHY do people take pride in owning/buying/presenting Greek islands??? :noidea:

[h=3]Cristiano Ronaldo proves he is the best man by buying Jorge Mendes a Greek Island for a wedding present[/h]Cristiano Ronaldo didn’t bother leafing through the Argos catalogue when he wanted to buy a wedding present for his agent Jorge Mendes. Instead, the Real Madrid star – who is best man at his long-time friend and confidant’s marriage today – decided to stepover the pyrex dishes, mug trees, fondue sets and towel (not Gareth) bales, and splash out a bit more than most of the 400 guests who are expected to attend. Greece has decided to sell off some of its islands in a bid to help clear up its crippling financial problems and according to Portuguese publication Move Noticias, Ronaldo splashed out anything from €3m to €50m for the non-disclosed land.

[h=3]NASA working to avoid traffic jams around Mars - The Economic Times[/h]LOS ANGELES: With two more Mars orbiters sent into space last year, including India's MOM probe, traffic has picked up around the red planet -- so much so that NASA has bolstered its traffic monitoring process to avoid spacecraft collisions. The US space agency has beefed up a process of traffic monitoring, communication and manoeuvre planning to ensure that Mars orbiters do not approach each other too closely. Last year's addition of two new spacecraft orbiting Mars brought the census of active Mars orbiters to five, the most ever, NASA said. NASA's Mars Atmosphere and Volatile Evolution (MAVEN) and India's Mars Orbiter Mission joined the 2003 Mars Express from ESA (the European Space Agency) and two from NASA: the 2001 Mars Odyssey and the 2006 Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO).
