Mind VS body!
My little grand daughter is a strict vegan.
So we had purchased for her soya milk with kesar-badam flavor;
since we could not get her favorite mango flavor.
She did not want to drink it but she had to drink it.
She drank it and did some kind of strange raspberry.
When i asked her what was the matter she replied,
"It is NOT ME BUT MY BODY reacting to the drink!"
You could have struck me down with a feather :dizzy:
A 4 year old child knowing that BODY is different from ME!
My little grand daughter is a strict vegan.

Marriage and children!
"Why do people get married?" was the question the little girl raised.
My son told her, "People get married in order to get good children"
(I salute to him for giving the right concept about marriage and children)
She asked one more question.
"You got married for me to be born.
But you did not get married for VaruN to be born!"
I butted in and told her,
"Most people get married only once.
If they do it right once is enough."
I also remembered the saying,
"We live only once but if we do it right once is enough!"

Anna daaanam
My new neighbors performed real anna daanam at their own expenses on Guru Poornima day-
after the week long akanda bhajan on Shirdi Sai baba.
The first question EVERYONE asked was "How much are they collecting?"
Thanks to the people who have managed to associate collecting money with anna daanam.
Everyone seems to have forgotten that Daanam means giving away freely!
I also remembered the lunch arranged by an institution to rise fund for their new building.
In the movie Chinna gounder the heroine would arrange for a feast and
everyone would leave some money under the plantain leaf they ate on.
The hero would leave a thaali! :clap2:

I think Mr. Ravi has given of his image from his yahoo email - so the image may be
visible to him but not to others - To have the image visible to others you have to give the direct URL -(i.e., click the image to a new window and cut and paste that URL) - That is what I think - I could be wrong

Omelet and the boiled egg.
A man told his bride, "It is very hard to please my mom! I am worried about your relationship"
The good natured girl assured him that she would surely try her best to keep their relationship cordial.
She found out that his mother loved to eat eggs.
On the first day she made an omelet for her M.I.Law.
The lady ate it and said," This is good - but you should have boiled it"
The girl boiled an egg for the breakfast next day.
The old lady ate it and said,
"This is good - but you should have made it into a omelet."
On the next day the soft natured girl boiled an egg and made an omelet with another egg.
She was sure that now the M.I.Law would have nothing to complain about!
But she was wrong! What could the M.I.Law have told her on that day???
The old bandicoot said to the pretty bride,
"you should have boiled the egg used for making the omelet
and made omelet with the egg you have boiled" :faint:
