Think or sink!

The invisible hands of FATE!

The five out of six legs being right legs was made possible by the play of the invisible hands of Fate.

I am usually meticulous and organized in everything I do - since i have no time to waste.

So after cutting the pieces for each salwar carefully I had hung them separately on the back of three chairs.

Only on that day may neighbor HAD to visit us.

My husband HAD to pull off all the pieces from all the chairs, roll them up in to one big bundle and toss it on my bed.

The jigsaw puzzle of six straight pieces and 12 cross pieces - some of them with and some without the borders- became too much for my already tired brain.

I thought "In any case I will get six legs out of these pieces. I can put them together once they are ready since it will be easier.

NEVER ever I imagined that I will end up with a riot of right legs.

Moral:

After cutting the cloth it is better to put the pieces meant for each dress in a separate carry bag and hang it out of the reach of the others.

Reminds me of the days I used to do autopsy when I was in the government hospital.

Keep each specimen in a separate jar and label them.

So VR ji..please label the carry bag too!

dear Renu,
I knew we will get one top and one matching bottom from a sari.
But with a little planning we coud get three dresses from each sari-
two botoms and one top or three bottoms and one pallu!!!
But tailors cut differently since they do not buy the cloth!!!

When Hieroglyphics bring joy!!!

The touchscreen phones have made the job easier for small kids.
Even those who do not know to read can now select the people
they want to communicate with ( thanks to the photo included).
So Varun took his mommy's contact page and sent her
a message in Hieroglyphics while she was at work.
She called back to make sure everything was fine with the kid!!!

Tejas is very dutiful.

He knows that he has to greet us with Hi and again wish us good day before signing off.

Now he lays them back to back and says "Hi! Good day" and does the disppearing act.

Today he was immersed in his I pad.

His mom told him to wish us good day.

His head was turned through 90 degrees vertically and then horizontally to make him face us.

Every timeshe turned his head he kept repeating the prerecorded message

"Good day!"..." Good day!"... "Good day!".

I pad makes little boys into Human Robots.

Juju is of two extremes :decision:

may be because she is a girl!

Either she won't want to talk :tape:

or she won't want to say bye bye. :blabla:

So when we keep saying "Bye bye!"

she will keep saying "No Bye bye!"

These days kids seem to develop so much faster than
the kids did a few decades ago.

I remeber small kids having difficulty in focusing their eyes on
a person or an object until, they are a few months old.

Their heads will need to be supported since they will lack strength of their own

But not not any more. Kids just 4 or 5 weeks old, stare at the parent's face intensely. They repond to other voices by turning to that direction.

They are able to move their heads on their own and look up, down, to the right and the left. Amazing!!!

Already we have got the relevant info and the invitation for the next C.G.T Meet in Feb 2014.

This gives enough time to even those who live abroad to plan their trips so as to attend the meet.

Tattered clothes, green eyes and the mixed feelings of

fear, helpless anger, animosity and hunger!!!

No wonder this photo became the most famous cover image.
