[h=1]தனித்திரு! பசித்திரு![/h]
bigstockphoto_man_meditation_1203669.jpg

உன்னதத்துக்கு உள்ளன மூன்று மந்திரங்கள்;

மனிதனின் பல மன அலைகள் அடங்கும்;

[h=1]புலன்கள், பொறிகள்[/h]
ist2_4737787-see-hear-feel-smell-taste.jpg

வளரச் செய்யும் ஒரு வயல் வெளி;

புலியின் பலம் கொண்டவைகள் அவை;

Ogle will happen in India ...not Google! :)

[h=3]Why didn’t a Google happen out of India, asks PM Narendra Modi[/h]Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday addressed IT industry leaders at a Nasscom gathering on the challenges the country faced, and asked the industry to contribute towards the “Digital India” campaign, which he launched last year. The PM said the Indian IT sector, which has touched $146 billion in the past two-and-a-half decade, took India on the global business map. “Rich and poor will be differentiated by the digital divide.

Small wonder the NRI founder of Hot Yoga is Too Hot for ladies!!! :flame:

[h=3]As yoga gets special status in India, NRI founder of 'hot yoga' faces six sexual assault charges[/h]On Saturday, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley’s budget accorded a special status to yoga, announcing that promoting the traditional Indian practice would be considered charitable activity. “Yoga is India’s well acknowledged gift to the world. It is proposed to include Yoga within the ambit of charitable purpose under Section 2(15) of the Income-tax Act,” Jaitley said. Last week, veteran Bharatiya Janata Party leader Murli Manohar Joshi claimed at a seminar that sexual assaults would decrease if yoga became more widespread.

A child above 2 years = an adult as far as the Airlines are concerned.

Some other Airlines are very considerate and charge you only 90% !!! :rolleyes:

[h=3]Couple drags airline to DGCA for charging full fare for toddler - Mumbai Mirror -[/h]A Kharghar couple have filed a complaint with aviation regulator DGCA against IndiGo Airlines for demanding full flight fare of Rs 9,000 for their two-year-old son. Nidhi and Sanjai Sharma claim that the airline had initially issued a confirmed ticket for their son, Krishna, on a Mumbai-Delhi flight after charging a standard Rs 1,000 fee for infant passengers. But on the day of the journey, Feb 18, the staff asked Nidhi to produce Krishna's birth certificate to allow him to board the aircraft on the infant ticket.

If Telangana and Seemandhra can cut off each other from history

why not the Tamil kings be cut off from Sri Lankan History???

[h=3]Tamil Kings Cut out, History Rewritten, Claim Lankan Tamil Students[/h]KATCHATHEEVU: Five years after the end of the ethnic war in Sri Lanka, Tamil minority students are still unable to acquire knowledge about the legacy of Tamil kings of yore through their History textbooks in schools. Instead, they get to learn only about the glory of the Sinhala kings and their contribution to the growth of Buddhism in the island nation. “Our History textbooks up to Class X emphasise that the Sinhala kings alone are the legitimate rulers of Sri Lanka and only their clan has the ability to govern the country. If Tamil-speaking students requested their teachers to enlighten them on the Tamil kings and their contribution, the fellow Sinhala classmates mock them,” rued a student, who came with his family to the St Antony’s Church festival at the uninhabited Katchatheevu island in Palk Bay.

A good question!!! Hope the answer will be equally good!!! :)

[h=3]Varanasi has survived history, but can it survive modernisation?[/h]Between the eleventh and the seventeenth centuries, virtually all of Banaras was demolished by successive invaders. In the late twelfth century Qutb-ud-din Aibak, a former slave who became a sultan, almost levelled the city to the ground, destroying more than a thousand temples in the process.The sixth Mughal emperor Aurangzeb razed many more, including, in 1669, the Kashi Vishwanath temple, Hinduism’s holiest site. No matter what history throws at it, it seems to survive. India’s growing economy and the explosion in connectivity to the Internet are changing the aspirations of its young people in radical ways.

If THIS is the plight of people of Karnataka :whoo:

what to say on the plight of their counterparts in T.N??? :(

[h=3]Enough water in Cauvery, but not a drop for 110 villages[/h]Sufficient Cauvery water is said to be available for supply to the City dwellers, but people in 110 villages that were added to Bengaluru in 2007 are still reeling under shortage of water. Unlike certain areas that were added to Bengaluru to form the Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP), these villages do not have any infrastructure for water supply or sanitation, making them completely dependent on borewells.

A colossal mistake???

[h=3]Watch: CNN mistakes Russian President Vladimir Putin for Jihadi John[/h]Mumbai: The American news channel, Cable News Network (CNN), recently committed a major faux pas on national television when it flashed, Russian President, Vladimir Putin’s face on screen during the live news broadcast above a caption that read: “Jihadi John identified”. CNN later apologised for a technical glitch that showed an image of Vladimir Putin during a news segment on an alleged ISIS executioner known as Jihadi John. A picture of the masked man, who appears in beheading videos of at least five hostages, was followed by an image of the Russian prime minister looking somewhat annoyed. The burly masked Islamic State (IS) terrorist known as 'Jihadi John' seen in gruesome videos of beheadings of Western hostages was named as a Kuwait- born Londoner.

A job well begun is already half done! :clap2:

[h=3]Narendra Modi’s budget sets India in the right direction[/h]Expectations for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s first full-year budget were always going to be too extravagant to satisfy. No single document could possibly address all of the many roadblocks to growth in India, each of which was enumerated, examined at length and lamented in weeks of breathless coverage leading up to Finance Minister Arun Jaitley’s 28 February budget speech. What the budget can do is reveal in clear terms the government’s spending and revenue priorities. Viewed in that light, the new budget shows a welcome understanding of what really ails India: a dire lack of investment.

[h=3]AAP lacks internal democracy: Shazia Ilmi[/h]New Delhi, Mar. 2 (ANI): Taking a jibe at the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) following reports that senior members Yogendra Yadav and Prashant Bhushan have offered to opt out of the Political Affairs Committee (PAC), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Shazia Ilmi on Monday said the Arvind Kejriwal-led party lacks internal democracy. "AAP lacks internal democracy, AAP is pretty much like any other party and it is very sad that senior leaders who have contributed to the party like Prashant Bhushan, Yogendra Yadav, Shanti Bhushan, Admiral L Ramdas who were actually the Lokpal of the party have to say this," said Ilmi.
