Although India has long been known for its sandalwood (Santalum album), it is only in the past decade that farmers have shown interest in growing the plant in their backyard. Until 2000, sandalwood was largely confined to the forests of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala and plantations of these state governments.

I remember a scene from a cartoon.
Two aliens ( little green men with antennae) go flying past in an U. F. O.
The first alien wonders," Can be any form of life in the earth seen below?" The second one says,"With that much oxygen in the atmosphere everything will burst into flame and burn down to ash!"

[h=3]Methane-based, oxygen-free aliens may exist on Saturn's moon Titan[/h]Washington, Mar. 01 (ANI): Researchers have revealed that Saturn's moon, Titan, could host methane-based and oxygen-free life form. A new type of methane-based, oxygen-free life form that can metabolize and reproduce similar to life on Earth has been modeled by a team of Cornell University researchers. Taking a simultaneously imaginative and rigidly scientific view, chemical engineers and astronomers offer a template for life that could thrive in a harsh, cold world - specifically Titan, the giant moon of Saturn. A planetary body awash with seas not of water, but of liquid methane, Titan could harbor methane-based, oxygen-free cells.
