Think or sink!

I wonder why little girls always want to be Princesses and young woman always dream of marrying a Prince!

The truth is only a Royal should marry a Royal cos they lead such restrictive lives and how the heck will a commoner adjust with all that?

Imagine if one marries a Prince and becomes a Princess one can not sit simply sit at any simple shop or just walk on the road cos that would break protocol.

One has to wine and dine only in select areas.

Life would be so boring..its like losing freedom.

And frankly speaking there is nothing really extra special about a Royal.

Dear Renu,
My dear little grand daughter always speaks about being a Queen or a princess. She has her own collection of Tiaras and crowns, capes and gowns, magic wands and fairy wands.
One day my D.I.L gave her a big lecture as to how a Queen or a Princess has no freedom to do what she wants. The little girl still speaks of being a queen or a princess but less often now.
I would have added that a queen or a princess will have to make the hemline of her dress real heavy - lest it flies or flares in the wind and the whole world would get to see her underwears!

Does familiarity breed cotempt? :ohwell:
It sure does!!!
Any help rendered willingly and voluntarily is slighted.
The old adage in Tamil about
"dinamum kodukkara Moodevi " and
"ennaikum kodukkaatha Sree Devi is 100% TRUE!!! :thumb:

True! women out there do not get killed since

they do NOT RESIST the inevitable rape! :(

So the issue boils down to

your virtue alone ??? OR

your virtue + your liffe???

Dear VR ji,

In such situations where one has no chance of escaping that is when one needs to use discretion.

The risk of being killed is higher if one fights back fiercely.

I am not saying that one should just not fight back but if the rapist is too strong to overpower or he has a weapon..one needs to think about not fighting back in order to live.

Virtue is never lost even if one is raped..cos Virtue is more than just out body..its a state of mind.

But out here many years ago in Msia there was a rape case where a man had entered a woman's car and forced her at knife point and raped her.

He told her that he would not kill her if she did not resists..fearing her life she did not resist but after raping her he stabbed her to death and burnt her body.

He told in court he changed his mind after raping her and killed her cos he feared he would get caught if she reported him.

So its really hard to say how a criminal's mind works.

Dear VR ji,

Some many years ago too there was a case where some men broke into a house to steal but when they saw the daughter of the house they wanted to rape her.

The girl was alone with her mother as her father had gone outstation..fearing her daughters safety the mother pleaded to leave the daughter alone.

The criminals agreed under one condition that they would rape the mother instead.

So the mother agreed to that condition and allowed herself to be raped by them and they spared her daughter.

The woman fortunately had a very understanding husband who felt that his wife had done the ultimate sacrifice to save her daughter.

Dear Renu,
I bet he wanted a warm and unresisting body for satisfying himself.
Dealing with a ferocious fighter will mar the fun.
Dealing with a dead body will be even worse.
So he enjoyed raping the live body,
put out the flame of her life and
put a live flame on her body!
In any case he wants to live on and on...
unreported, uncaught and unpunished!
I wonder what she had done to desrve this kind of cruel end! :(

Dear Renu,
At least the rapists kept their word and spared the daughter.
What if they raped the mother and then the daughter
and said laughingly in unison "We lied!" :dizzy:

When some men see food, they just want to eat it.
When they see a female, they want to possess her.
It is always satisfying some kind of hunger -
that of the belly or that of the body! :frusty:

A harmless joke spoken in good humor may become
a harpoon hulrled back with deadly accuracy
from an unexpected quarters.
The reason...
The power people have over the others!
Smile and Smile from the front and
Stab and Stab from the back!
May those angels also get paid back
in thier own currency and coins! :amen:

He was sentenced to death.

I have seen two nutty nuts go up the hard way carrying their food, water, cot and reaching the top in 2 days. At least they come down like everyone else. Thanks to the fear of gravity when we also travel downwards!

I was reading this article today Energetic Vampirism.

I feel each one of us has shades of Energetic Vampirism in us and we have no idea that we are actually living off anothers energy and also supply energy to others.

BTW the article says females are better Energetic Vampires!LOL

PUTTU put on world record!!!

[h=3]Put on the Guinness path[/h] Students of a hotel management institute stake their claim to the longest puttu — at 18.2 feet. Sri Lanka has always claimed credit for coming up with puttu, the much favoured breakfast dish of Keralites. Now, a group of hotel management students here has staked claim for making the longest of its kind. Eleven final year students of the Oriental School of Hotel Management (OSHM) at Lakkidi in Wayanad district used a 20-ft special mould of aluminium on Monday to prepare the dish in their attempt to find a mention in the Guinness World Records.

Imposter posing as ex-Pakistan cricketer appears on BBC as expert
An imposter posing as a former Pakistani cricketer has duped the BBC into paying him to appear as an expert on cricket shows and even took part in a discussion involving ex-Indian batsman Aakash Chopra. Nadeem Alam posed as ex-batsman Nadeem Abbasi to give his “expert” opinion on BBC World News, BBC Asian Network and Radio Five Live, despite only ever playing cricket for his home town of Huddersfield.

Will the love test tell the truth about the true love???

[h=3]Scientists develop 'love test'[/h] New York, March 16 (IANS) Do you believe in love at first sight? A team of researchers from universities in China and New York have claimed to have isolated parts of the brain that are most active when someone is in love. In a study that analysed brain scans of people in different stages of love, initial results showed that a dozen different areas of the brain are affected in different ways by the emotions of love.

[h=3]Parliament in uproar over Rahul Gandhi snooping issue, Sharad Yadav's 'dark-skinned' women matter[/h] New Delhi, Mar.16 (ANI): Proceedings in parliament predictably got off to an aggressive start on Monday on two key issues - the Delhi Police visiting the official residence of Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi to make personal inquiries and on Sharad Yadav's controversial "dark-skinned" women comment last week. In the Lok Sabha, Congress leader Malikarjun Kharge promptly stood up as Monday's session began with Speaker Sumitra Mahajan in the chair, to demand an official response from both Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on the issue of why the police found it necessary to visit Rahul Gandhi's residence, which he described as an invasion of the latter's privacy.
