An interesting pictorial description - without the use of words! :thumb:

I was a little surprised when one of the doctors(during the discussion on knee pain) said that using MCR chappals might aggravate the pain and let the arch at the bottom of the foot collapse slowly.

I learned by trial (by wearing the MCR chappal) and error (I had committed in doing so) the truth in his statement. :(

For three days I wore my new MCR chappal for the morning walk. By the fourth day my ankles have become like twin anacondas and the pain in the ankles and feet was literally killing me.

We need some support while we walk or else the lack of reaction from the floor might do more damage to the already damaged joints.

Soles which are too stiff are to be voided just as these which are too soft Medium hard/soft and light weight sole would be ideal!

Why light weight???

Because whenever the chappal does not carry us (when one foot is put down) we carry the chappal (by lifting the other foot with it)! Right???

In the same the super comfort beds which offer zero resistance to our weight do more damage to the spine than good!
Once I sat in a low super comfy sofa in my nephew's house and I could not get out of it. I realized then that I have been getting up all these days by pressing hard with both the hands on the seat I was was sitting on and used the force of reaction to lift myself up and out of the seat.
But the harder I pushed the deeper my hands got buried in the fluffy velvety stuff! Finally I got down to the floor on all the four like a crawling child and got up from the floor like a weird four legged creature. :(
Even since then the super comfy sofa sets and low seated sofa sets and beds are a strict :nono: for me! :scared:

The ideal bed will be the one which supports the entire body equally.

How is it possible with all the bulges and curves everyone seems to have?

It is possible if we we make an impression on the wet clay and let it dry!

It will be the perfect designer bed offering the real support and the real comfort!

Is anyone prepared to sleep on this designer bed and made to order???

Reaction can be either favorable or unfavorable.

Once I sat heavily on a chair with five mini wheels - the type used by busy persons and important persons.

Either the force was so much or the wheels were so free to rotate that I was carried to the other end of the room in a jiffy. Before I could put down my feet to stop the chair, it banged on the wall and threw me sprawling face down on the floor in my front.

We ca have a hearty laugh when such things happen to other people or in movies but not in real life to our own selves! :(

I take to my heels whenever offered this prestigious chair ever since then. :bolt:

Hard beds with coir stuffing are the best.

These are available with sponge on one side and coir on the other with total thickness ranging from 4 to 10 inches.

If the hard side makes the back a little stiff ,one could reverse it for sometime.

Try this. I have one of this type,

These are also light unlike those with cotton.

similarly sofas with nothing spongy are best-the base of teak ply with quarter or half inch thick cushions of any type is fine and the sofa is fairly comfortable.

It is best to customise so that feet touch the ground while sitting on the sofa. Also the back of the sofa needs to be straight at right angles.

What can make a person walk like a duck
when he gets up in the morning??? :decision:

The best bed is lying on the floor on a soft mat or a sheet and

let Nidraa Devi embrace you after a long, tiring day's hard work!

If Hunger can be the Best Sauce why not Hard work the Best Bed? :thumb:

A thin
sponge bed spread on a heavy cotton bed has the advantage
of being soft and also offers firm support to the body!
I always sit on the tallest and strongest seat available in the house. :)

:becky: We have to turn several times during sleep!

How will it be possible with this kind of bed? :dizzy:

We turn and toss in the bed because the weight of the body acts only on some selected regions and they soon become sore/ numb and need some rest from supporting the body weight. So we change our sleeping position.

But if the body weight is distributed all over half of the body's surface area (since we may lie on our back and be half buried in the mud-bed) the area in contact with this designer bed, there will be no need to turn and toss while we sleep.

I myself can sleep for 6 hours straight if I have small neck pillow under the nape of my neck and a large soft pillow under my knees. I guess all the other areas are already flat anyway!

May be I can even sleep more but my bladder gets filled up - making it necessary to get out of my sleep and then out of my bed!

The flat backside has many advantages- including not drawing too much attention from you-know-who.

I think we all know the word 'kuNdala kEsi' meaning 'curly hair' like springs and spirals. I met the wife of one of the classmates of my husband, during one of the annual meets.

She certainly wore a designer salwar suit. It fitted her enormous backside perfectly bringing out the individual bulges just as it did in the front also.
'Enda Amme!' :faint:

A double trouble for her and a double damaka for all the others.

I could not help giving a her a nickname (in my mind)
to rhyme with the word KuNdala Kesi!

I did not dare to share it with anyone till now - not even my best friend!

If women look good from front , it is advisable to not see their backsides.

If initially one sees backside which looks good , it is wise not to see front side.

This is a male point of view.

Can I modify the male point of view to state a truth.

No woman looks good (naturally) BOTH from the front AND the back!!!

(I am NOT talking about sculptured Zebras or sponge-stuffed-undies!!!) :)

When the deficit of sleep keeps getting added everyday soon it will reach the peak value beyond which the body can't take and will react is various ways.

Turning men into Robots by depriving their sleep is one of them. Turning women in to zombies is another. But that is not all.

Please read on to know the other scary results which can be avoided by
giving you body the amount of sleep it requires!

I myself felt washed out from the time i got up in the morning. I am not sure I know what happened in the past two hours! :(

May Lord Krishna enter into every home and every heart unless He is already there. :amen:

May His gospel of love for the supreme and equality spread among all the people. :amen:

May people spread love and not hatred among brothers and sisters of the world.:amen:

May Peace and prosperity return to the world torn asunder by violence and hatred! :amen:

P.S

Amen = Thathaasthu = Be it so = appadiye aagattum! :)

I feel fresh and bright after singing 15 beautiful songs on Lord Krishna.

I believe in giving Sevikku UNavu more than in vayitRukku UNavu.

So the sevikku UNavu was a feast and the vayitRukku uNavu was very simple!
