Children are more brilliant, more curious and more daring these days when what we were as kids decades ago

An old lady I knew proudly would proclaim that her eight children would stay put wherever they are made to sit! (like a basket of the holy cow shit???)

Everything comes with a child lock facility. P.Cs, desktops, T.V sets, cabinets, medicine bottles, chemicals, cleaning liquids.

Think of anything , it will have a locking system. Sometimes the system is so complicated that even adults from other countries find it difficult to open them. The magnetic locks used for cabinets are shown above.

The Time's flow

Why does a man always project
His own ideas and then object?

Whatever is his real objective?
Degrade by thinking subjective?

Why does he often this forget?
He too can often become a target!

Of such an inhuman onslaught
Comparable to a manslaughter?

The life is spared, have no doubt!
But honour is always put in doubt.

It always results in deepest pain;
Putting relationship under a strain!

Why can’t he just let thing stand?
Which he will never understand!

What makes him feel one up on others?
To go around chopping their feathers!

Try to gather feathers for your hat;
Rather than chop other person’s hat.

Strive to come up and then become,
The thing you had wanted to become.

Slice not the others seen around;
Surely your actions will rebound!

For every action done good or bad;
There ‘ll be a reaction happy or sad!

The mills of God may grind very slow;
But it will surely - with the time’s flow!

Tejas has been the hero of this thread for more than 6 weeks now! :)

He wanted to make his own contribution ti this thread - unedited and unaltered by me.

I guess it is all right since many of the posts here are the copy pasted versions of materiel found in other social sites - written and illustrated by people we do not know!

Tejas is still writing to learn legibly using his pencil with its grip but he can type very fast.

His article on an Indoor plant decorating the tea table in the P,C,Room follows! :)

My indoor plant

This plant is so amazing. It has tube shaped leaves to carry water to the cup.That is how the leaves make enough food for the entire plant.

It has red patches on some of its leaves.The cup is a round shape in the middle. It is grown on soil packed in a pot with few pebbles placed on the top. It produced one red flower. When the flower died the cup was formed.

The leaves grow yellow tips when they become old and dry. Sometimes the leaves bend to face down. The plant is dead only after all the leaves from top-to-bottom turn yellow.

the eldest grandson of Visalakshi Ramani)

My dear Raji,
I want the readers to take some efforts and find out about the things referred to in this thread.
Spoon feeding is acceptable up to a certain age.
Thereafter people must be able to their own food and eat it too!
Thank you for posting the YouTube link and enriching this thread! :)

The magnetic key does NOT open the door when I use it. It may sound strange but it is true.
So these locks are not just childproof but they are also granny- proof!
I have something to do with both magnetism and electricity.
I get mild shocks when no one else feels anything.
There was a time when a mild shock used to leap across the room and get me every time I walked past the fridge.
No one felt the shock even when the touched the fridge!
I get a shock when I dip my hands in the washing machine when it just switched on - though not running at that time.
I seem to attract or repel people more than the others do. :rolleyes:

Tonight is super windy and chill.
It foiled our plans of lighting sparklers and flower pots.
Tejas can not a NO for anything under our control or beyond it!
Just to make him feel better I said,We can't control the Nature or the wind!"
He continued to cry saying "I wish I can control nature!"
Man control the nature!!!??? Poor kid he is wishing for the impossible.

I think the difference lies in one more point.

What does good for us is the work of Krishna.

What does us harm is the work of Sakuni.

So the same person will appear like Krishna

to the those who benefit by his VIRTUE and

as Sakuni to one who gets disappointed by his VICE! :decision:

Time and tide
Fortunes favour and aid,

People who wait and bide;
And never from fear hide,

Even if they are always laid;
Hardships are sure fun to ride,

Even with failure on our side;
Do learn to rise with the tide,

Do not suffer in this world wide!

When Tejas was a kid he used to coin fun words spontaneously.

It must have come down from my son who once asked

"Do we have a Southangai since you call this as Northangai?" :rolleyes:

When he had the word Timbuktu Tejas started counting

Timbuk2, Timbuk3, Timbuk4 etc. :bump2:

Little Tarun is not lagging far behind his big brother!

When asked his brother's name he said "Tejas Raman"

When asked his own name he said "Baby Raman!"

Since he still refers to himself as a baby! :baby:

The post-it-notes are very useful.

They stick very lightly to the paper/ page they are stuck on.

They peel off smoothly without damaging the page when removed.

The pop up pad look so slim, sleek and compact

and always one note will be standing up in readiness!

I use these as book marks especially in the books used for paaraayaNam.

While in U.S.A we have to do what the American do.
So we too have carved 3 pumpkins and are planning to paint the fourth.
The Trump look alike pumpkin (fondly renamed as Trumpkin) looks great! :thumb:
The fourth pumpkin will be painted as Hillary Clinton.
I hope I will get the images posted in this thread or at least in my image gallery!
Tejas had brought the right pumpkins from the farm he visited with his school kids. :)

Dear Sis,

How do you like this logic? (Copied from our dad's notepad. :) )

1. Those who drink always, are drunkards.

2. The drunkards go to sleep soon.

3. While asleep they can't commit any sin.

4. Those who don't commit sins go to heaven.

So ........... All drunkards will go to heaven!! :angel:
