Being outwardly religeous means exhibiting wearing caste signs bigger and thicker , with appropriate dresses mentioned besides quoting from scriptures in sanskrit .I think

some are trying to cope with the new realities of increased uselessness both physical and mental. Or it might be an attempt to get accepted by others in the same

predicament like him. One has to be like other romans if you are in rome

Of course I agree some make weak desperate attempts to shake off the inevitable and go on a binge and succeed sometimes.

It is a clear case of delayed male menopause, age having got shifted to late sixties or early seventies.lol

Oh damn it is replaced by Oh God.

When firing fails , it can only be Oh God.
 
BTW Singer Janet Jackson sister of Micheal Jackson has converted to Islam...news is out on internet.

She married London based Qatari Billionaire Wissam Al Mana.

Janet is currently pregnant at the age of 50!

Her husband is 41 years old.

It seems he had always considered her his dream girl and he married her.

Apparently when she visits his family in Qatar she wear Hijab.

From posing nude and sexy image..she is finally wearing a Hijab.

Writer and poet kamala das converted to islam and wrote that wearing hijab made her feel protected.

Nothing great about janet jackson wearing hijab.

Even Our paatis covered their head and felt protected when they were widowed.

I feel Hijab is a good garment to wear as we age..no need to dye one's hair..no need for make up..just cover everything except eyes!LOL

Should consider it as I get older.

May be when I am 60!LOL

Janet Jamema Diana or Kamala and Padma lakshmi- the attraction is not islamic practice of Hijab - but Islamic practice of Circumcision by men !
 
Talking of circumcision,one of my relations got circumcised as a surgeon felt that his urinary infection is because of it. Further, he drilled a hole in his head to drain water thru an insewrted tube

reaching to abdomen to drain water from his head due to meningitis.Surgeons take delight in cutting up people . My relation after temporary relief after a few days again

got into the same issues after the operation. Now the surgeon says that the root cause in the body that caused the problems needs investigation. Lol

Most become experimental elements to play with for doctors.Earlier he had got treated with steroids before operation by surgeon.

Indian hospitals are death traps.

Doctors can do any crazy thing with you.lol

It is very much a personal choice of the individual.
The attraction to Islam may be because they have special status in India.
The bonding and bidding farewell is made easier by the tripe talaaq.
There may be several other factors unknown to me!

While anthropologists disagree on the origins of circumcision, it is certain that the ritual was practiced in Egypt as far back as 4000 BC. Mass circumcision ceremonies would take place primarily in the upper classes, being recognized as both a puberty rite as well as for the sake of cleanliness.

Although this comes as no surprise given that circumcision has been practiced by various religions spanning thousands of years, what is surprising is that some anthropologists argue that the procedure arose as a mark of defilement or slavery.

In fact, captured warriors in ancient Egypt suffered amputation of digits as well as castration, however, such mutilation would often result in death. Therefore, slaves would be forced to undergo circumcision given that the procedure was viewed as a sufficiently humiliating compromise.

SCREENARIANS OF THE MODERN AGE!

Screens dominate our life, our waking hours and everything we do, think, see, plan and communicate with the other similar Screenarians!

Smaller the age, larger is the screen used by the person
and larger the age smaller is the screen used by the person.

The time has come when people do not even look at one anther even seated at the dining table.

The parents may be staring into the small screen of their fancy phones. Older children may be staring to tablets and younger children in to I pads.

No one knows or registers what he/she eats, why they eat or how they eat! Small wonder the food does NOT get assimilated in the system properly and they look lean and famished - in spite of eating good food.

The other extreme swallows everything without discretion and end up becoming obese and unsightly!

How I wish we CAN go back to the olden days when the story telling by grandparents was the main entertainment to the children - besides kathaa kaalakshepams, dance recitals and musical concerts!
 
Festivals are meant to encourage people to spend.

My sons say that the florists and the jewellers came together and started the annual celebrations like Father's Day and Mother's day to promote their sales. I have no doubt about this fact. :)

But can you guess the amount of money sent this year on this Halloween celebrations?

No...one does not need to be a Muslim.

Many Non Muslims too undergo circumcision for medical and hygiene reasons.

Here its no big deal...many Non Muslims too opt for it but in India I see its a big deal for a Non Muslim to have a circumcision.
 
During partition of india,when hindus and muslims were targetted in pakistan and india, circumcision was the basis to decide if a male was a muslim or hindu.

Life of a person depended on it.lol

Talaaq is not always triple.

There are 3 types of Talaaq:


1)Where a husband says(Lafaz) the word Talaq once..Talaaq.

2)Where its Lafaz twice...Talaaq,Talaaq,

3)Where its Lafaz thrice ..Talaaq,Talaaq,Talaaq.


Ok in the 1st two types he can re-marry her once the period of Iddah (waiting period) is over.


But in case of Triple Talaaq if he wants to re-marry her ..she has to get married to another male..then let that male divorce her after consummating the marriage and only then he can re-marry her.

BTW is it just me or anyone else having problems while typing in forum?
