The eldest /oldest sibling does not get respected automatically by the younger ones

He /She has to earn the respect and cooperation of the younger siblings by his /her honesty, impartiality and integrity.

I leaned this from a recent happening where all the younger siblings decided to disobey and disrespect the eldest sibling sine he/she never shouldered the family responsibility along with the others. :tsk:

True that Respect must be Commanded and Demanded!
Respect must be earned and not expected to be given any which way!

Recently I was asked a million dollar question by someone very close to me.

Someone very close to that person had visited my website and got duly impressed by the number of blogs, their themes and their contents.

The comment made by that person was that I must be an intellectual to be able to create such a solid website.

Strange that person close to me had to be told this by someone else close to that person about this.

What disturbed me was the unexpected question," Unakku Uchchi kulirnthathaa?"

If I am the type to get my "uchchi kurinthufy " for one person visiting my website, I must have got deep frozen long ago when the viewership in many of those blogs had reached six digit numbers!!! :smow:

Corollary:
It truly requires one intellectual to identify another! :moony:

தற்பெருமை = "என்னாலும் முடியும்" என்ற பெருமிதம்.

Sorry my dear sister!

You have misunderstood me competely!!

Living close to a person need not necessarily make the others realize the greatness or otherwise of that person.

On the other hand a perfect stranger may spot the spark of greatness
because (can I say frankly) he /she is unbiased and neutral.

Intellectual may not visit the blogs since they already know everything that is to be known. :nerd:

ONLY those who have an insatiable thirst for knowledge would visit blogs of others to learn something new and useful. :ranger:

Others are satisfied with what they know and don't care to know or learn more! :couch2:

The pathos of the situation was that a total stranger had to enlighten those close to him who are also close to me! :sad:

My observation is that like the popular 'Indian naNdu', the people close may be pulling the legs of that naNdu, which keeps trying to reach greater heights, in a united effort

We had promised our Yoga and Spiritual guru that we will not
indulge in idle talk, chit chat standing here and there in clusters,
discuss about people who are absent at that time etc etc.

I believe still that these are virtues and not vices.

But it always gets me into trouble when there is a gathering and
I am unable to participate in the conversation for obvious reasons!

Regulating apana vayu / evacuating bowels early morning

PrANa VAyu - PrANa controls the breathing process taking place inside the chest. In the form of oxygen PrANa takes its energy.

ApAna VAyu controls the excretory organs and the reproductive organs.

SamAna VAyu helps in the process of digestion and controls hunger.

UdhAna VAyu controls the vocal chords, this helps in breathing air and eating food.

A Newborn's Conversation with God


A baby asked God, "They tell me you are sending me to earth tomorrow, but how am I going to live there being so small and helpless?"

God said, "Your angel will be waiting for you and will take care of you."

The child further inquired, "But tell me, here in heaven I don't have
to do anything but sing and smile to be happy."

God said, "Your angel will sing for you and will also smile for you.
And you will feel your angel's love and be very happy."

Again the small child asked, "And how am I going to be able to understand when people talk to me if I don't know the language?"

God said, "Your angel will tell you the most beautiful and sweet words
you will ever hear, and with much patience and care, your angel will

In any gathering here FOOD and EATING seem to be the most important event. I even doubt that more people come out to eat than to enjoy the main event...be it a book exhibition, or science show or a fund raising program.

Food tents appear magically , so also the temporary toilets and drinking water outlets. The next day there will not be a trace of any of them on that ground!

More like he magical work similar to Mayan mALigai!

In the restaurant attached to a local temple the Vegan Day has increased from once a week to twice a week. The dinner starts at 5 P.M. and the late comers have to miss all the tasty dishes.

I watched with amusement at a man who jut filled a big container 750 m.l with the beans and ate nothing but that.

There was another woman ( a vrugOdhari if I may call her so) who ate four plates food and four bowls side dishes.

Obesity is certainly the major problem here with both men and women in addition to growing children.

I feel like Minnie Mouse when I walk beside them. This is despite the fact that I myself am theoretically obese!

There is one group which wants to remain petite and the other which does not care about the girth or the weight!

Three factors amaze me when I see them.

1. How do they manage to walk on those tiny feet?

2. How does the heart pump blood to all those kilometers of blood vessels?

3. How do they find dresses to fit them despite their weird shape, impressive mass and measurements.
