Thoughts for the day

I was browsing the blogs of this forum and wondered why some members blog each every post, including the one line 'quotes'!!
When I went through the best blogs, I felt like :faint:

The blogs in which the brahmin girls are described equivalent to call girls are among the best and have star value too!! :scared:

One consolation is that, 'that' blogger has 0% activity, now!

I thought that you were NOT interested in the Forum statistics!!!:bored:

Things may not go in one's way in life, sometimes, as he/she desires
to be; mainly because such things may not be in their control. However,
they must try to make the best out of those things, which happen to be in their control.

Thoughts for the day - continued

यस्य नास्ति स्वयं प्रज्ञा केवलं तु बहुश्रुतः ।
न स जानाति शास्त्रार्थं दर्वी सूपरसानिव ॥
If a man does not have self-awareness, he cannot be called
wise even if he is well-read. He cannot know the deeper meanings
of scriptures – much like a spoon does not know the taste of the dish.

यस्य नास्ति स्वयं प्रज्ञा शास्त्रं तस्य करोति किं ।
लोचनाभ्यां विहीनस्य दर्पणः किं करिष्यति ॥
The scriptures can not help anyone who does not know himself.
What good is a mirror for one who has no eyes?

When we were in Mussoorie for a Course in Defence Institute of Workstudy, sometimes
we used to have an opportunity to see snow caped mountains nearby. Our people
used to go to Ladakh too for training, field study etc. It used to be a thrilling experience.
Local people used to say in their typical local language that mere aspiration, by changing
the frame of mind, one cannot succeed. There people generally say that he who stays
in the Valley cannot get over the Hill unless one has a strong positive mental attitude and
potential to do extra ordinary things with perfect practice to climb on the hill. Thus
One has to have a confidence that it is possible to do a bigger thing too if they
are able to concentrate with determination and dedication to achieve the goal in life.

More thoughts for the day:

As a single footstep will not make a path on the earth, so a single thought will not make a pathway in the mind. To make a deep physical path, we walk again and again. To make a deep mental path, we must think over and over the kind of thoughts we wish to dominate our lives.

Henry David Thoreau

கண்டவர் = he / she, who has seen the truth (self realization)

விண்டிலர் = will never speak about it
! :tape:

விண்டவர் = he/she, who speaks about knowing oneself :blabla:

கண்டிலர் = has never seen / known it. :nono:

Trust the person who says that he seeks the truth.

Never trust the person who says he has found the truth.

Is it clear now Naina garu ?

My Tamil is getting rusted. Please translate.

Perfectly Clear.

From another source!
