I can understand that the anger stemmed from the first election of a Black President of African American descent! His policies have angered the Whites & Christian orthodoxy! Here is a good article about the reason for the rise of Donald Trump! Gun control, affordable Health care, Support for Gay marriage, lifting of sanctions on Iran & decline of US from a numero uno position have caused a surge in sentiments for the opposition camp!

Americans are living in a cocooned world! They hardly know their neighbors! They hardly know what the guy sitting next is doing! They do not bother to know about what is happening in other less developed countries!! A sort of haughtiness that goes with wealth and military power!! These type of accusations against Americans are quite strong!

You are right Ganesh Ji. If you do not understand or care to understand what is going around you, you are very likely to be unpleasantly surprised. I think the Americans are beginning to experience that surprise.

The article is a right wing and red neck perspective.

The reason for people's anger has to do with corruption.

Too much money is needed to run for public office and this has created power for special interests and their lobbyists to influence the lawmaking and execution through campaign contribution.

The resultant economy is therefore driven by agenda driven corrupt action though it is all legal.


The US Supreme court had stated that campaign money is equal to expression of free speech and hence there is no limit to what is spent. This has created so called advocacy group that can spend limitless money in all kinds of negative ads.

The consequences are not good for public at large.

Trump says he will not be owned by anyone. Sanders is raising money from ordinary public ($27 or less per person from millions) and claims he is not owned by special interests.

Given this people are angry at career politicians.
