Shri Sravna,

You are cent percent right that there are number of factors that are a measure of thinking and physical appearance may not definitely define clearly as what one's attitude is.

This is the very basic that I believe any matured person can understand and accept. But often be sceptical bout the girl's attitude and can confirm only after getting to know her fully

I just want to know as what is the single point, that you both seem to be discussing on and seem to be contradicting with each other?


Are you guys figuring out as how the attitude of the girl to be identified by her attire OR whether the Slut appearance of the girls is to welcome or criticised in a society / whether the Slut attire attitude of girls are good for themselves in their social life or not?

Siva thinks physical appearance, correct me if I am wrong Siva, reflects the attitude of a woman But I do not quite agree with that as I think it points to nothing more than the ubiquitous need for appreciation. But I am also to an extent with Siva as I think revealing too much may indeed say something more strongly about her attitude.

That's what the society is worried about. Many men are worried about the animal instinct of their own fellow men. We can well appreciate and encourage girls to expose as much as possible for their own pleasure.

If all the ladies follows the same and educate their daughters in the same line, as how they are now supporting, than that would be the fair and uniformed efforts of the women folk.

In majority and as a general natural instinct, all sorts of revealing are required expecting guys to do a double take. Right from teen age till the girl gets married. Even after getting married women prefer to look beautiful and sexy for their husbands at least if not for the others. This all are perfectly OK and guys expect the same.

If guys go dumb, than the girls would be totally disappointed. Same would be the case with guys..

I have come across many times, girl saying - "The more they reveal, the more easily they get their work done". Some husbands say's - "The more my wife is revealing, the more easily I get my work done".

We can challenge and question the morality of guys and gals with all our justifications. But the basic point is men and women seem to have similar strategies in this materialistic world.

Both are selfish in some way or other. Guys wants and enjoys seeing other ladies in revealing attire, but can't tolerate even single naughty comments about their wives by fellow men. Women want to appear sexy in general and feel happy and proud if guys pass on appreciations. But can not tolerate if her husband praises the physical beauty of the other ladies and stare at them.

As long as both men and women as girls and boys, as girl friend and boy friend, as husband and wife, can tolerate each other's strategies, desires, intentions and don't have any sense of insecurity towards each other, than everything would be fine, IMO.

But I am sceptical about the possibilities of such tolerance to exist in a practical, personal life.

See what is there to feel jealous?If we are in a stable relationship we can be close enough to share each others thoughts.
Like once I saw an African guy at a shopping mall who looked like a Model out of a fitness magazine,clear dark skin and a real hottie..everyone at the mall was looking at him and even my hubby saw me staring and my hubby said that that guy should try his luck in Hollywood.

See its ok to admire beauty and no one needs to get turned on by it.
Not all woman get jealous of other woman if hubby looks at them.I dont.

I dont agree.I will give you an example.I had a patient before a married woman decently clad per the requirements of her religion and even wore gloves and stockings.She was not ready for another pregnancy and came to see me to see if i do abortions and i told her I dont do abortions.

Ok then i had one more patient, same religion as the above one but was extremely revealing in her clothes and she had come to test for pregnancy.
She was also pregnant and told me that she was not ready for another pregnancy too but she said as she has no right to take a life, she will keep the baby.

I would have thought that high heels would be more of a duress than short skirts.

With the latter, the female after all, at the most, need to put up only with certain chills in the netherworlds, but the damage done by high heels is for life.

A temporary ascent of six inches, might help make the feel tower over her male counterparts, and even enable her to administer a knock or two, on the head of the beloved.

Atleast on this front, we men are sensible. No more than a inch for us. Any part. Any day

Siva, these women are not setting out to dress scantily from now on. This is a protest to illustrate how ridiculous it is for anyone to suggest that women must not provoke men, particularly a law enforcement officer, and bring attention and brook debate.

These women will go back to their normal attire after the march I am sure.

In Tamil Nadu if a woman goes to a second show alone she will be blamed if she becomes fair game. In the U.S. if sex starts with consent and during the act if she withdraws consent, and if the man continues, it is rape (except of course when DSK does it -- normal rules do not apply to the rich and powerful).

If a woman dresses up within the law of the land, then, if she is provocative, men need to take a cold shower, not take it as invitation to assault. This is the point of the Slut Walk.

I agree with you,have you seen man protesting when there is a Miss World/Miss Universe contest?Its always some frumpy looking behenji types who will be protesting trying to project an image of woman of substance(but will be dying for some attention in reality)

See most woman can be jealous and in fact we will hear the "Slut" word more from woman.Seen lots of these types of woman who try to outwardly project "Woman of Subtance" aura but the moment they get some attention they were craving for you can find them with a whip in a hand with high heels and fishnet stockings!!!

We just have to admit it that both sexes enjoy each others attention and that natural.

Yes I agree, as a doc who has done post mortems before sometimes the human anatomy doesn't really mean much except a Conglomerate of Flesh and Bones.

See but being a doc has an advantage when we are caught surfing Redtube we can escape on technical grounds and say its just Human Anaotomy and nothing more and can say I am not attached to the fruits of my actions!!!

I dont know about other docs but I often use the word Bipolar on myself.
I have Bipolar interests and can change like a chameleon from one sec to the other.

Dear Dr Barani,

You know why I excluded other doctors cos when ever I go for any Medical Talks I have seen most of them esp the female docs are so so serious in nature and they seem to have Delusion of Grandeur more than anything else.

Very few crazy docs like me out there.Sometimes may be they are afraid of Public Perception but for me I go by the 3rd Digit Theory that use it to the world as often as we like!!!!

I am in "quarantine" mode these days, mostly reclusive, stay home, procrastinating, planning, and deep thoughts. And though I spend many hours in internet everyday, these following sites have never seen me visit even once:

My shockwave flash is permanently off, ads mostly blocked, screen and windows kept dark with white font to ease the load on the eyes. My browsing sites are mostly constant: google news, gmail, one renewable energy website (serious one), TB is an addition these days, infrequently Skype and voice chat with some friends, one stock/options/ derivative trading website that runs constantly at the other side and I watch the changing prices.

And I haven't been to a theater to watch a film in over ten years. I don't watch TV, except spending a few minutes in the afternoon to give company to my mother (my father doesn't watch TV either, he likes to watch the activity on the street). I have no ears for music, except for a rare symphony orchestra, and my knowledge on hindu theology is nearly zero. There, you have my profile about the present day mode! It may change and when it does I will update it here!

I will tell you about colors of life;

Blue is all pervading like the sky(what we see pervades our mind)and Life is nothing but a Film.
Yellow is mixture of Rajas and Tamas, Vaishya mode..we need to have money to buy those magazines.
Red is Pure Rajas hence all those actions.
Green is a color of fertility which shows up 9 months after all actions are over.

I have the highest admiration and respect for people in TB, as I don't find that much quality and intellect in any other forum. I refused a cushy $300K quant job offer at New York City, mainly to return to India with zero assets and be with fellow humans having overlapping mindset, so nothing will shake my diehard loyalty and highest priority to my circle of people.
