One of my relatives who had some mystic power in deciphering horoscopes and in suggesting remedies to allay the defects was advised not to do it as the dosha or suffering or karmic burden would, if cut short prematurely, devolve on him (and his family).

Who would want education if spiritual power can eradicate poverty and materialize thayir sadam!!! Of course, everybody may not want thayir sadam.... but that is a different story :)

Probably that is the reason it takes greater power to materialize thayir sadham than to educate people

The logic of what I said is simple. If I teach logic to one person he can teach that to many. Magic always has to depend only on my ability. Nature seems to prefer logic over magic.

Dear Sravna,

I want to relate 2 incidents that happened just 1 day apart.

The 1st incident..I had to go a government agency for some stuff and I was planning to wake up early and be the 1st client at their door step.

But then part of me told myself that why get anxious..I had taken the day off and have the whole day between 8 am to 4pm to get the work done so why be anxious as usual and by there early even before the office opens?

Then suddenly a strong thought came to me that better go early cos the server of that department is going to be down at 10 am..so better go there before the server goes down and you wont be able to get the work done.

So I went early and got my stuff done..I was there at 7.45am waiting for them to open the door!LOL

Then at 10.05 am I was wondering "is their server actually down now like what I had in my thought earlier?"

So I checked their website at 10.05am and indeed it was down!

That was the first time I had seen that website saying unable to access due to server being down..log in later!


So Sravna..what is your view on this?

1)Co-incidence?

2)My own anxiety imagining that server would be down?

3)How come it was so accurate that even the time matched?



now 2nd incident..I was about to stand by a counter window to make a payment when I saw a car parked near the counter and at the seat was a rather old man.

I had a feeling ...dont stand at this counter..this old man is going to engage the wrong gear and might hit into you accidently.

So I decided to not go to that counter and go in to make the payment.

As I went in I saw the old man's car actually lunge forward and hit the side of pavement near the counter.

Then he applied brakes and got out of the car..he said he accidentally engaged the Drive gear instead of Reverse gear in his automatic car.

Wow..was I lucky.

So Sravna..what say you?

1)Was I just being cautious that senior citizens are prone to make mistakes in cars?

2)Intuition?

3)Or sheer co-incidence?

Nothing at all is mere coincidence in my view. All the events are interconnected in space and time. What we make of them depends on how deep we can think and see the whole. Of course we cannot be applying depth to every day to day activity but in activity of some consequence, it seems to me that it occurs to set ourselves thinking and gain something from it. What you may gain from your experiences is to make you think whether events that seem to be strangely related happen by mere coincidence or by purpose. Whether intuition can predict the event ahead of the event? So think about it. You have two such experiences. So think hard about it.

Renuka, everything including extra marital affair is a positive learning experience to the soul. But to the body and mind it is extra martial and so be willing to fight a war.
 
It seems to me if what is considered as an incurable genetic disorder can in fact be cured that would conclusively show the presence of energy not known to science so far.

Which incurable genetic disorder are you talking about? Did you 'cure' it?

No I have not treated any genetic disease thought to be incurable. But wouldn't that be the proof one need to look for?
 
The rain is wreaking havoc in Chennai .

Met's Prediction: Rain will continue through wednesday non stop

My attempt is to stop it at the earliest and not let it continue into Wednesday.

It seems to me that the rains to the extent they are due to unnatural causes, say man made causes can be curbed. I am going to see if rain stops that way. Let it also be a test case for the hypothesis of spiritual energy.

Dear Shri sravna,

From the satellite images (which I go through at least once daily) it looks to me as though the rains will not be intense because the effects of the low pressure look diminished as of 16-15 hrs today. But it may gain strength even during tonight!

It is therefore, up to you to decide if such a case should be taken up for your spirituality demonstration.

To day is Wednesday The "Power" is switched off by TNEB - Neyveli is shut down! How about Spiritual energy ? Spirital UPS - Will it keep the city going?

I feel its better not to use spiritual energy to interfere with nature.

Right now out here as I type this..its raining like hell.

But there is a reason why it should rain.

Why cause an imbalance in nature?

Your bringing down the temperature in summer did not go too well as far as I know..so why stop the rain?

Even Lord Krishna did not stop the rain..He only carried the Govardhan hill to shield the people from rains.
 
Amazed that people actually are having serious discussions about 'spiritual energy'. The issue is not if it will do harm or good . The truth is that there is no such a thing except for those who believe. Nature's laws cannot be overridden.
 
People of this forum do not realise the spiritual power of sravnaji.

He prayed excessively for rains.

See the result.

Chennai has got flooded.

I am reminded of 'The Guide' by R K Narayan where in Raju guide gets mistaken for a holy man and is forced to fast and pray for rain.

It ultimately rains and rural folk think it is because of Raju's prayers.

These serious discussions are about how to convince one of our esteemed members from the mental fixation about something called "spiritual energy", that ultimately humans have only human energy and not any spiritual energy. Each one is trying his/her best to prove the non-existence of a non-existent thing! Hope you get it.

Are you saying that the rains are not because of the prayers and spiritual mumbo-jumbo?
I was ready to blame the person doing the prayers, for not understanding the power properly. These rains have caused death and destruction, who is responsible for it?

Are you telling me that nature is not controlled by prayers? What a let down.
 
Hindi film fraternity including Amitabh Bachchan, Rishi Kapoor and Farhan Akhtar are praying for the safety of people in Chennai.
