Atrocities towards Women

Doctor Mam,

You are entitled to your opinion.

But here I would like to share Mr.Morgan's interview with Dalai Lama and his replies which are
more pertinent.

Excerpts:

MORGAN: Do you ever feel temptation when you see a woman?

DALAI LAMA: Oh, yes, sometimes see people. Oh, this is very nice. But then thinking—thinking it's a real job, then feel, too much problem—

(LAUGHTER)

DALAI LAMA: Too much dirty things like that.

This is why the Dalai Lama doesn't date. Does the 14th Dalai Lama really think sex is "dirty"? Well, as the saying goes, it is when it's done right. But I don't believe he meant "dirty" as much as messy. Not necessarily physically messy. Though surely he knows having sex can lead to contracting or transmitting diseases like chlamydia, gonorrhea, genital warts, syphilis, pelvic inflammatory disease, herpes or HIV. (Well, he may not be familiar with all STD's.) But he sees the bigger problem: Sex is psychologically messy. Emotionally messy. (See my prior posts.) Even dangerous. This is why there is really no such thing as the oxymoron "safe sex." Sex always entails some risk, either physically or emotionally. Sure, we can and do try to minimize the risks in various ways. But, as the Dalai Lama suggests, sex and romantic love is not particularly conducive to peace of mind. Sex complicates life. And can be the source of immense suffering. As well as pleasure. As we all know, sex and romantic love tend to wreak havoc with our emotions, not unlike a bipolar roller coaster ride, taking us to both the heights of ecstasy and depths of despair. Sexual love can feel like having been infected with some exotic virus or possessed by some erotic spirit or demon. Soon after meeting the beloved, the classic symptoms ensue: anxiety, sleeplessness, agitation, appetite disturbance, obsessive longing, compulsive calling, alternating elation and apprehension and countless other little signs lovers learn to live with. This potent state of intoxication is the polar opposite to psychological serenity. Daimonic passions like eros or lust tend to undermine one's peace of mind.

An extreme view. The practical experience is otherwise. LOL.

Dalai Lama was not born tru Immaculate conception..he was born just like anyone of us!

Lord Buddha himself had a wife and son.

There is nothing wrong in Kama at all...Kama is the what brings husband and wife closer.

Kamam Hi Madhuram!

pAyasam is just pAyasam. It is not madhuram. It just tastes madhuram.

Sex is not by itself the brahmanubhavam. But sex may lead to near brahmanubhavam by a"as near as possible while remaining within the bodies" or "almost there" sAyujyam (between two souls). This is what the learned people of that branch of faith claim. Only this much can be written in this forum lest it will become explicit material.

Is this branch only advocating heterosexual sayujyams or other types too?

1)Sex is psychologically messy.

Its only messy if one wants to keep scoring goals in every goal mouth like Messi!

2)Emotionally messy.

Emotionally fulfilling like eating Payasam.

3)Even dangerous.

S&M isn't for the weak hearted!LOL

4)This is why there is really no such thing as the oxymoron "safe sex."

There is...its called using a Condom!

5)Sex always entails some risk, either physically or emotionally.

Life is a game play it..risks are part of the game!

6)Sure, we can and do try to minimize the risks in various ways.

True...safer to watch porn for those who dare not try!

6)But, as the Dalai Lama suggests, sex and romantic love is not particularly conducive to peace of mind.

The mind knows no peace nor agitation.
Its merely an organ to transmit the results of our actions.

7)Sex complicates life.

Aiyoo Mama...Its becos of sex life comes into being!

8)And can be the source of immense suffering. As well as pleasure.

Same as anything else in the world...a tasty meal of mutton biryani gives one pleasure and also pain later on.

Toh Kya Farak Hain..Biryani Ya Sex?

9)As we all know, sex and romantic love tend to wreak havoc with our emotions, not unlike a bipolar roller coaster ride, taking us to both the heights of ecstasy and depths of despair.

Life is all about BIPOLARITY.

Only God who is Dwandaathetam is not Bipolar...the rest of us have depressive and manic episodes!

10)Sexual love can feel like having been infected with some exotic virus or possessed by some erotic spirit or demon.

Endorphins my child...Endorphins..Virus Ya Bhooth Nahi Hain!

11)Soon after meeting the beloved, the classic symptoms ensue: anxiety, sleeplessness, agitation, appetite disturbance, obsessive longing, compulsive calling, alternating elation and apprehension and countless other little signs lovers learn to live with.

Masha Allah! That is only in the beginning phase..anything new makes us restless and possessive.

If we get a new handphone we would take care of it so well...after a while we wont even really care where the heck it is!

12)This potent state of intoxication is the polar opposite to psychological serenity. Daimonic passions like eros or lust tend to undermine one's peace of mind.

Sahih Baat Hain...potency-impotency bahut serious condition hain. If not treated it can lead to demonic possession of the mind where one can't be in a restful state till the potency is restored.

I suggest we hear Madhurashtakam sung by MSS.

It will cool our sexual urges , promote spirituality in this forum.

TB should behave as one not like sex craving individual in advanced age.

It sends all wrong signals to youngsters who expect us to be role models for them to emulate.

Have you wondered why youngsters shun this forum?

The version sung by Vijay Jesudas is superb.

Modern touch..Vijay Jesudas voice sounds like his dads voice.

I really do not know. I will have to go to the library and refer to archive. But I would take the risk and ask you a question. Payasam is payasam. Semiya payasam, paruppu payasam, paal payasam, thengapaal payasam are all just payasam only. Is it not so?

It can only be called Payasam if it contains cow's milk...Therefore thengapaal payasam can not be called Payasam.

One fails to understand as to why some of the members get their eyes wide open and ears perk up on hearing the word SEX.

There is nothing wrong in writing about spirituality and SEX.

There are rules, I mean terms and conditions as to how a members should behave and every one is adhering to that.

And as such no one need to worry about the Forum which is doing fine.

And no one need to worry about youngsters shunning the forum which is not correct.

If someone wants to write about sex many pornographic sites are available where one can freely write without constraints.

I do not understand desire to write about sex in garb of spirituality and making comparisons.

It shows a highly perverted thinking process.minimally.

Sex collects eyeballs.

A honest thread on spirituality has been converted into a thread for expressing deepest liking of sex and linking with spirituality.

My sympathy lies with sravna who genuinely wanted to air his views on spiritualism.

Sravna has seen it sensible to move away and start another two threads on this subject.lol

Dear Renuka,

Temperature control was a success and temp was 1 c below historical averages in the past 3 months for chennai. I believe global warming can also be brought under control.

I plan to initiate efforts and put in more time on pressing problems and the present effort is such a one.

Dear Mr Sravana:

Even when one visits this forum rarely one finds there are always two or more threads on this "spiritualism".

Sorry to say this but..
Claiming to control temperature of a city is height of delusional thinking. Totally surprised few members here actually encourage this kind of "spirituality".

If you want to prove your powers, here is a challenge - Go to a hospital and find three patients that the doctors have given up. Cure them with your powers.

Then get the Doctors (who should have advanced degrees from well respected institutions) to say you cured them

Such a proof will get media to talk about your brand of spirituality.

An expression of our mellowed friend Mr Vaagmi's is what I will use. Dont waste bandwidth here by stating the same thing over and over under different topic area until you have a proof like one suggested above

Good luck

Body is the temple for spirituality...a temple should have fine arts too...so physical sex is a fine art..we are Temples of Fine Arts.

Doctor Mam,

While you say that body is a temple for spirituality, there is a section which believes and consider that human body is a prison. The belief is while the immortel soul aspire to freedom, the body holds it prisoner..... Human body is a temple or a prison.....?

Aiyo TBS garu,

Its not there yaar in Madhurasthakam...I was just telling Sravna...just as in Madhurashtakam everything is Madhuram..therefore in Spirituality, Maithunam too should be Madhuram.
hi renu,

i know....once i byhearted full madhurastakam....just for kidding....you can create a new MADHARAM CHA MAITHUNAM CHA...

Dear Mr Sravana:

No one can read another person's intentions even face to face!
We can only read actions - like writing the same topic over and over and expecting different results.

The challenge is thrown to you - onus is on you to take that challenge and prove the spirituality you have been talking about for months or years.

Dear Sir,

Prison or Temple....both are concrete structures.

If one leads his life well his body becomes a temple...if one commits a crime..his body becomes a prison.

I look at Sravnaji's posts on spirituality and spiritual energy as hypotheses. He is putting forth these hypotheses for wide circulation through this medium so that others who may also be engaged in similar research can contribute to the common goal by exchanging ideas and findings. I do not believe sravnaji has written any thing conclusively about his hypothesis yet. He says he has been successful and has evidence for that and that needs to be repeated several times by others to cross the stage of hypothesising. Then there can be measurements, conclusions, differences, explanations, reconciliations etc., Then will follow calibrations and presentment.

So there is no need to challenge him to prove now. It is premature. It can even be a disincentive for the exploring mind.

Dear Shri Vaagmi,

I am putting together all my thoughts in a separate thread and that is where I would like to conclude my hypothesis. Kindly keep giving your valuable feedback.

Atrocities on women can be stopped only when woman follow our culture at least when going outside.

Sravnaji
Your thoughts should withstand trippings.

This is the acid test for all posts here.
.
Most hypothesis become like GST bill t. It keeps getting diluted that ultimately one is forced to conclude sex act alone is spiritual .

All will vote for it with a thumping yes.lol

The Sex act is not spiritual.Maybe you can say Tantric. But definitely be all and end all for all young.
