One study by the harward group in the recent mahakumb was about the use and penetration of cell phones by organisers, participants, volunteers and cell phone companies. The report when made public will throw light on whether it is a boon or a bane.

A new company called lovepalz (you can look up its website) has created new applications based on smart phone.

This is a new virtual world on top of Maya as we understand

In a few years the interruption may not be just a phone call which may become obsolete - like the new Google glass there are devices always on that will sense what you need - we have "google now" in our smart phone which is useful and creepy at the same time though it has not been exploited for deviant applications

Personal choice might become obsolete in the future.

Everything will be pushed to us through various devices. :heh:
