hot off the press, for those of you, ( like me ) restlessly awaiting the decision of that love torn young lass.. it appears she prefers daddy after all..the car, restaurants, pampering, separate bedroom and all such, are any day better, than a one room tenement with a sick old lady to take care.

oh well!! now if only the tambram girls who elope, would follow this type of decision, and return to the bosom of the family.

True, I also heard this from some circles here. The face of the media is not always to be believed. But being what we are, we gulp down such incidents so easily. I guess, our predispositions play a major part in our willingness to believe such things.

it has been mentioned that cheran is a dalit, whereas chandru is not.

cheran has brought up his kids without caste and its associated benefits. (entered blank where caste was asked). that is what i have heard cheran say. publicly.

On wednesday the drama came to an end with Cheran's daughter joining back her family in the process ditching Chandru. Cheran after hearing the verdict of the highcourt prostrated (?) before the crowd of media and public(read friends) and thanked everybody.

Times of India reports further:
The Madras Highcourt's famed access control measures came a cropper when a large crowd of film directors,and stuntsmen descended on the highcourt premises.Moments after the verdict was given, stuntmen, film directors and many others associated with the film world formed a protective human chain around the emotional director's family to escort them away from the media glare."Though this court is supposed to be protected by a 259 cops security umbrella, not one has stepped in and attempted to stop the tamasha" said advocate Siva Rajasekharan. "When I argued the Lily Pond encroachment case, police stopped several people at the gate. The reason being they were poorly attired slum-dwellers.All are not equal here" rued Prabhakaran, President of the Tamilnadu Advocates' Association.

That speaks a lot about Tamilnadu.
