Cooler Chennai this summer

Are you going to pray alone..Would you recommend others also to join the prayer..Are you suggesting some mantra, puja or Homam for this..Can you share the plan unless you have decided to do it secretly?

Thank you Sir. It is not a secret. I have discovered that any good cause if sincerely prayed for happens. So it is just like a prayer but not mantras or homams. Of course others can join too and let us see if the heat of Chennai can be tamed.

I too believe in the slogan" More things are wrought by prayers than this world dreams of"...It will surely create a positive vibration through this..Let a million minds pray with you!
 
OMG Sravna! Are you serious?

Actually the temperatures are low here for the past 1 month..usually for us February is kind of hot with rains but now we have cool temperature and NO rains..very unusual weather.

AFAIK Chennaitiesare well accustomed to Hot weather, I mean Dog days.

Why worry when we have a nice beach andpleasant breeze with Marina after 3.00PM

Only thing is we don’t have much swimming pools at Chennai

Actually Sravna sir is right. If we all start thinking positively , miracles happen.

I picked one good thing from Sadhguru JV. He says before a meal , thank the nature for providing you with that and your experiences start changing. Prior to that many a time i used to roam with card, cash etc but I wouldnt get a meal. Also all men know what happens after a fight at home. But after I started being thankful, I am atleast appreciating and respecting whatever I got.

Cos as far as I know even Swamiji's dont really interfere with laws of nature.

I am reminded of a story where one person was trying to get some Siddhic powers to learn to walk on water to cross a river.

Then if I am not mistaken it was Ramakrishna Paramahansa who told him "I just take a boat to cross a river"


Sravna..I am no Swamiji or Mataji..but if you want a cooler summer please get an AC(Air conditioning unit)

Dear Renuka,

This is serious. I do not want to interfere with the nature and that is the reason I pray for the effect without any side effects if possible. Let the divine powers which know the best decide. We will wait and see.

Dear Smt RR,

You can definitely support me . Please pray sincerely for a cooler Chennai. You can just do it at your home. If there is truth to spirituality , I think it will work.

Chennai lies on the 'thermal equator' (google it). In fact, the met office's predicted that Chennai will experience it's hottest summer ever in 2014. No prayer will cool Chennai.

Doesn't matter. Prayer to make it pleasant in my view will be heeded by the divine powers. Remember the climate has become worse in recent years because of man created reasons.

Sravna..why dont you calculate how many trees are needed to ward off the heat in Chennai and start a tree planting campaign?

May be it will take time for the trees to grow but at least in a few years time there will be some change.

BTW Sravna..how do you really plan to make Chennai cooler...what technique are you using??

Renuka,

It is actually difficult to accomplish the task since in my view Sun is a spiritual power. To make a change a spiritual effect greater than that will do the task. But it will be done only if the ones who are trying to change it are in the right direction.

I have a feeling that it is right because the man made effects need to be reversed and hence sincere prayers to divine powers will work. Sometimes spirituality needs to operate explicitly to restore any imbalance.

When a million minds pray it will have a powerful effect

Ok you try it..I am 100% sure nothing will work.

Even God needs to come as Avatars to uphold the ever declining Dharma and still no change in the world..so I am quite sure nothing is going change..wait and watch.
