The paintings of Ilayaraja are superb.. I never knew that there is one wonderful artist amongst us. It is really hard to believe that they are paintings and not photographs.

As a small child, my elder son used to hang various things by the long hair of any of the four ladies in the house. He would stick it to the edge of the dining table with a drop of water. They would appear to hang in mid air and NO ONE was supposed to disturb those objects.

Frog's tongue is fixed on the wrong side. It is fixed in the front and folds into the mouth. The advantage is that it can lash out its tongue to catch the unsuspecting insects flying near by. :frog:

The clever-frog is taking a free-ride on the snake-boat!

Why is it supposed to be clever???

Because it is ON the snake and NOT IN the snake.

Also it is sitting at a safe distance from the head of the snake.

If the snake gets any 'ideas' and turns back its head,

the frog can leap off its back and swim to safety!! :clap2:

# 38. Believe it or not!

The human eye stays the same size from birth, but the ear and nose never stop growing.


The adult size eyes in the baby face makes them very attractive and wide eyed.

New born babies are unable to cry because they can't shed tears until they are about three months old.

So they have evolved their own system of crying with dry eyes and protesting by screaming loudly!

After a person dies his/her hair and nails appear to be still growing.:scared:

This is simply an illusion caused when the moisture leaving the body causing it to shrivel up.

Every human being starts his life as a single cell.
This lasts for about half an hour.

A paradox in bones!

A new born baby will have about 100 more bones than a fully grown adult because our bones fuse together as we grow.

the largest and the smallest!

The thigh bone (Femur) which extends from the pelvis to the knee is the largest, longest, strongest bone in the human body.

The Stapes bone in the ear is the smallest bone.

The scale on the right side measures in millimeters!!!

But enamel is not a bone! Am I correct doctor?

Hello VR Mam ,your quicker responding attitude is superb .your work oriented nature i just love it.(more features of your to be admire) yes mam coming to the point ,as you stated if its only the bone its CORRECT. but then still i intend to say that the strongest organ in human body is tooth enamel as tooth enamel ,dentine, bone all has the same composition as hydroxyapatites .I hope that i can participate in this thread.(not like your contribution ,mine could be like Annil in ramayanam)
