That's a good suggestion. But it takes away the thrill of having some lovely people at my home
and doting over them.

Velachery to Palavakkam is no distance, really. If folk can come up to Velachery, they might as well
come over to my place - it's nothing 'grand' , but it is right on the sea front.

I have to give you the little Gangai Sombu from Triveni Sangamam - it's a small thing, but priceless for those
who value it.

I think TVK Sir lives in Velachery and knows every part of Chennai well - maybe you could join with him
and come over to Palavakkam.

Please see whether it will work-out for you.

P.S. I am realy interested to know the reason for Renuka Madam's location choice.. I am bit surprised..as parking is a very costly thing in phonix..

Sorry for the delayed response. I will be willing to attend the meet if it is after 15th Dec. I am really sorry that I will not be able to attend the meet before that. Thanks Shri AM for the invitation!

2 . Sravna Ji cannot make it on the 15th - a few days later may not be a problem for him.

3 . Renu requires two body-guards [ you & VR ] if she has to attend.

4 . You are yourself tied-up till the 18th / 19th.

5 . Hard Rock would be prohibitive, cost-wise and would take away the air of an
informal 'family gathering '.

So, things are still in a 'fluid state' just now - let's wait for a few more days
and feed-backs and we can take things forward from there.

It is a real pity that I couldn't meet with Prasad Ji at your place on the last occasion.

I last visited Chennai in 1995..that time I was there seeing Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge one day before my flight back to Msia.

I still remember the face of one guy who never really watched the movie..poor guy kept turning back to look at me all the while..he was totally not bothered that I was seated next to my mum(may be he did not know its my mum cos my mum and I do not look alike..I look like my dad)

He looked very decent office going types..wearing glasses and a nice shirt and pants.

Well that was Chennai in 1995..

I might need to plan some trip eventually to Tamil Nadu God knows when..need to get some books from Mylapore.
