Dear Raviji

Terrific collection. Thanks for uploading.

"Aandhi" - Sanjeev Kumar & Suchitra Sen, I don't know whether you recall, the movie caused a
big controversy leading to its ban in early/mid 70's. Story line supposedly taken from the lives of Indira Gandhi,
Tarakeshwari Sinha and Nandini Satpathi - all top lady politicians of those days.

Please tell me where to find Nirad Chaudhury's article. We always kept a 'cutting' of interesting articles
those days and I had one too, unable to find it now. Maybe if you hunt in Kushwant Singh's rejoinder
article " Why I hate Nirad Choudhury ', also in the Illustrated Weekly, you might make some headway
But I remember the year was 1969.

I am a bit of a 'fossil' in trying to dig things out of the net.

Yes, as an NRI, I think you should read it - not necessarily agree with all of it.

Yay Yem

Shri Anand Manohar,

Please just call me Ravi, with all your love and affection. I am too younger to you.

Yes!!! The song - "There bina zindagi se koi...shikwa tho nehi...shikwa nehi" is from the great movie "Aandhi". And the story line is based on the life of Indira Gandhi / Lady Politicians of those days.

Its a wonderful movie and shows how politics of sincere politicians can make them lose the charm of their own life.

Sir, I will try my best to locate the article. If I could find, I will certainly share with you. Yes!!! I do like reading controversial articles/write ups.

It's my pleasure, sharing great songs with all of you here.

The last 5 songs, I posted above are the most beautiful songs, I love the most, among many others. All the old Hindi songs I posted here are my most favorite ones right from my teenage.

These musics mesmerizes me, especially the musics of the song "Chaandni Raath Mein Ek Baar Tujhe Dekha Hai", "Naa Jaane Kyaa Hua", "Likhe Jo Khat Thuje", among the last 5 posted above.

I enjoy listening them quite often..

Raviji

My God! You do have a terrific collection - I guess you must be a good singer too.
I sing too - only in the bathroom - poor inanimate objects like the sanitary fittings
will never frown if go off note / off beat - great listeners they are!

Yes, I agree the stoic, philosophical, patient camel [whether pregnant or not] is any day preferable
to a sly, stinking rat full of disease. Wonder why the Doc chose it. It looks like we are soon going to
have an entire zoo in the TB Forum!

By the way, have you tasted those milk sweets made from camel's milk ? We used to get them
in those shops owned by Iranis near the Gold Souk, Deira.

Dear Renuka

Since you are reverting to your original picture, I have gone to the Camel Katchi, temporarily.
I will not post a pitiable animal's picture against my name - I will upload the nightmare itself.

Engal Chinnam "Camel",
Engal Vote " Camelukku ".
Camel "Vazhga"
Rat rat "Ozhiga"
Camel pugazh " Onguguga "

That's only temporary - if the camel change picture to original - I will switch
party again .

Yay Yem

Shri Anand Manohar,

I just get mesmerized with these wonderful musics and the lyrics. I do love singing a lot. Unfortunately could not ever learn music other than just 10 days class to play Violin, when I was around 19 year. Could not continue!!

So, end up singing in bathroom as many others and or when I am all alone, LOL!!! Mostly I could sing only melodious songs well

YES!!!!!!! Long long before when I was new in Dubai I have tasted those milk sweets made from camel's milk. But I had it near my office area, ABUHAIL, Deira Dubai. I love those sweets very much. Very very tasty!!!!!
