renukaji

my apologies if i offended you.

i meant in simpleton way when i asked about vedic community as commonly acknowledged as Brahmins community preserving Vedas and dedicated to that task only.

as you cleared your stance, we will move on.

does isckon preserve vedas ? if so then i can approach them for vedic rituals . i thot it is only promoting bhakti

'Preservation of Vedas' is not happening because of people who are forced into a life of Priest (for being unable to do anything else) and recite some 'blah blah' without understanding.

Most priests do not want their sons to become one. Most so called 'Brahmins by birth' and not certainly by qualities (Gunas) do not want their daughters marrying priests/purohits or their children becoming one.

Preservation of Vedas and teaching of Vedic truth is happening all around the world including India by Guna Brahmins (who may or may not be born in Brahmin family).

For doing Vedic rituals there are poor fellows available in many places these days who suffer even in foreign lands in relative poverty to support ritualistic needs of those that think they are preserving Vedas
