Dear friends,
I went to see this movie with my Grand Ma, initially I told her I don’t want to come, and it’s a very old movie... But she wanted to see it again and she needed company, as my mom comes back from school by evening. So, the only option was me. After her repeated persuasion and the excitement of getting two packets of groundnut packets, I went with her. But, I enjoyed like anything and wanted to see one more time. I didn’t get the courage to tell my nani thinking of the back fire I am will get. Later when we bought the VCR, I bought the cd and saw it scene by scene with full satisfaction. And this song, oh what a song! All great actors, what an acting, my heart goes for all those great actors and actresses. With very limited technology in hand, what great movies and effects they had made and the depths of their acting still amaze all. Hats off to them all.

Dear Dr.Anandi and Renukaji,

stalwarts like Ariyakudi, Chembai, DKP,DKJ, MMI, GNB .....

Or I can provide links to the websites where you can download many
songs by becoming a free member.

Dear Ranganathan Sir,
All the songs you are posting are really superb and the greatest ones. I love old Hindi songs. I have a huge collection. I use best old dance songs of Vaijayanthi mala, Hema malini for my School's annual day programme every year. I listen to all songs, then editing and mixing is done.. I sit late night to do this.. All songs will be made as medleys... Mixing of two or three songs together, I love Classical dance and have learnt Bharatanatyam for many years. Children really enjoy dancing to these medleys. That gives inspiration for me to do more work on this. Whenever I listen to your posted songs, this comes to my mind and I wanted to share with you. Please don’t mind Sir.
Keep posting, All are very nice songs. Thank you once again.
Anandi

dear Amala!
Thank you dear girl! You need a lot of guts to dedicate a song to me in this Forum - since some others try to stamp me as illiterate (or to be exact as Tharkuri ) and I am advised to look at myself in the mirror! (For what!!!)
I am sure I have not started growing horns- the way they wish me to!
Take care dear little one and thank you once again!
with best wishes,
Visa Mami.

Dear Dr.Anandi,

From Jhanak Jhanak, a dance-song by Hemanta-Lata , with Vasant Desai
as music director. This closely resembles 'Jaag dard ishq jaag' of Anarkali,
but a combination of two raagas :

YouTube - ‪Nain so Nain Nahi Milaw-Jhanak Jhanak Payal Baje‬‏

I am giving Anarkali link also :

YouTube - ‪Jag Dard E Ishq Jag - Hemant Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar, Anarkali Song‬‏

The music director of Anarkali is C.Ramachandra, definitely a genius because he
combined our classical and western .

Dear Ranganathan Sir
Thank you so much for your initiation. both the songs are so good.. Kannum kanuum kalandu.. Wow..!!! what a dance performance by Vaijayanthimala and Padmini.. Incomparable, None can match their steps... keep posting..

Yes Renuka, Nice song.. A song of High Tech Era... Before 50 years all the technicians were doing manually the work with minimum facility.. Now in the ultra modern time.. Machines do it... we enjoy both... both are good works of the time. We have to travel with time, holding the old golden memories to our heart... bcoz we won’t get them back again. This is a nice song, very motivational.

Sri N.R.Ranganathan,

Thanks for these two songs...

1) The real meaning of Duniya (Duniya of Love)
2) Remembrance of the past kills and whom to share with?

Both the nostalgic songs got deep emotional thoughts and feelings...Good songs Sir. Thank you.

You may like these too -

I feel this song as very inspirational, being a tamilian that I am! I have danced to this song in my year 11 and instead of the main dancer coming out of the book, it was the main dancer coming out of a conch (oh, here I have to heartily praise our art master of our school!)
I still don't know what that film is (poor me!!) but I love this song. I know this song by heart!!! We students got so inspired listening to this song and many of us got goosebumps!! - 'சங்கே முழங்கு'

YouTube - ‪Sange Muzhangu Sange Muzhangu Sange Muzhangu - Pavendar Bharathidasan Song‬‏

Kind regards

P.S. Not at all proudly but very humbly I admit that I was the main dancer

Sowbagyavathy Valli, Greetings.

That inspirational song was from the movie, கலங்கரை விளக்கம்.

When I was in the primary school, I found this song very fascinating. Still I like this inspirational song.

YouTube - ‪Kelvi Piranthathu Andru‬‏

Cheers!
