Introduce yourself here

I am SachithAnandan who is a Physics Professor at Amrita University, and also the caretaker of a Siva temple at a village KARUVILI (i.e. if proper sadhana is done under Siva's guidance here, one will not be in a womb again.
After many years at a sacred Aasram, a couple of years up at the hills of ThiruvannAmalai, I find that the Siva Force here is second to none. Also when I was feeling despondent after years of sadhana along the lines of Ramana Maharshi, at a Sakthi-dominant Aasram. Now I am finding that the Siva at Karuvili can take a sAdhak far deeper/higher on a continuous basis, and perhaps take him all the way to mOksha. Only time can tell.
You are all welcome for MahaSivarAthri at Karuvili (23 km from Kumbakonam) on 10'th March, and hopefully experience what I asserted above. It is also true that the sAdhak must have been at meditation for some time, and be keen on further progress.

Hi all
I am Perrii Muthuraman residing in Toronto, Canada.
This is my introduction:
I am trying to find out myself ("who am I") since my childhood. I am not sure whether I found out the answer fully, though I am nearing sixty. Since I am a born Hindu, I started searching the answer for my question from Hinduism. My curiosity is not yet over.
As "Thirukkural" says I firmly believe that we all need money for our worldly affairs. (PORUL is the word used in Tirukkural). Same time, no one is given extra time to earn "ARUL" (Arul is the word used in Thirukkural.) We all have to work for earning "ARUL" also when we are taking efforts to earn "PORUL" in this world.
What is Arul? According to Kripananda Variar, Arul is unconditional love towards anyone and every one, without expecting anything in return. May be this is described as, "love thy neighbour" in Bible. On a daily basis, I do few minutes meditation to acquire ARUL; and a silent prayer. That's all. But I do occasionally participate in Group Bhajans and poojas, and enjoy listening to them. Always willing to share my knowledge and learn from others.
Background for my present search on the internet......
10 to 20 families will meet for Tamil new year (April 14) as part of our regular cultural and social meet up. For this meet up, as an organizer, I am wondering whether we could arrange Lakshmi Kubera Pooja in Tamil at home. My thoughts on this..... Everyone recognizes the need for wealth (but not unconditional love.) and why not organize a pooja that will be liked by everyone.
My request to you....
Every one is welcome to share his or her thoughts and ideas on this to help me. If you have some experience, let me know the procedure to conduct the Lakshmi pooja in Tamil by our selves. I will be watching this site for some time for possible response from any one or alternatively if you prefer to communicate privately, this is my email: [email protected]. Thanks for taking time to read this.
Finally
Many thanks to tamilbrahmins.com for their excellent (ARUL) service.
Perrii Muthuraman

the odds are...

Thanks Nanillam balasubramaniam sir. We lived in sirkazhi for a long time, my chittppa worked in poonthottam.

Sohamsoham sir - I know one person with the name Mr.sethu who is from karuveli. I'm not sure if you are the same person.

reply: My poorvAsrama name was Sethuraman, but the odds are that I am not the Sethu you know, for no one uses/knows that shortened name here that I am aware of, since I am sort of "settled" there only over the last 15 yrs or so.
My birth, education, employment etc were all elsewhere.
regards,
SachithAnandan
