self introduction

I am ganesh sekar, s/o Dr subramanian and grandson of Dr Rajasekaraiyer who was the first Doctor at Ramakrishna Mutt Free Hospital at Salem during 1950 for Free Service. Now I am 57 working at Canara Bank as Supervisor at Salem. I am very much interested in listening Vedas, Mantras and Slokams and reading books Bhagawad Gita, Dharma Sastra books and all Aanmigam books.

Dear Sri. Srinivasan, I will be happy to have interaction with you. I am presently staying at Siruseri, about 35 Kms from Kodambakkam. Well, I was born in Srirangam and lived until 1961, when I left Tamil Nadu for my job.When I left Srirangam, it was a very beautiful, peaceful town, full of coconut and mango orchards. It was a pleasure to be at the banks of River Cauvery, during the month of Aadi, Ippasi when water was to flow up to the brim of the Banks. During my School days at the Boy's High school, I used to go to temple almost every day. I am lucky to have my birth at Srirangam, which is known as Bhoologa Vaikundam as well as The First of 108 Vaishnava Thirupathies. I used to worship at Sri Akilaandeswari Temple on every Friday. Worked in Kuwait and presently in Saudi Arabia in petrochemical company and my wife is in Chennai.I am looking forward to keep in touch with our traditions through this forum.​

My father was the founder of Vijaya Ganapathy temple in ullagaram. He was a Sampradaya Bhajan Bhagavathar and has written many books.

My forefathers have roots in Tanjore, Palghat and Tirunelveli

A big hello to everyone in this forum. I am ship captain, presently settled ashore in the UK. I do visit India once every few years. I love carnatic music. Living here I do not get opportunities to visit temples as much as I would like. I am not of any strong opinions or beliefs . I tend to agree with most posters. Looking forward healthy debates on this forum.

currently in Chennai.

I found ample time after retirement and am trying to understand

i am archana from chennai. i work for schneider electric.i came to this site to actually ask people suggestions on how to find a lost kula dheivam of a family...in our family, 2 generations below, somehow the kuladheivam was wrongly taken n right now vayalur is being visited as the kuladheivam which is not right. can anyone help me on how to find the right kula dheivam?any upasagar or people who use chozhi would be able to guide? i only know that it s a cave temple located n an around salem....

Hello Archana. Good Morning. May I suggest you to kindly visit the Shri Bhavatharini Chakra
Kali Temple on one of the Ashtamis at Ratnamangalam near Vandalur on the Kalambakkam Road.
You have to get down at Tagore Engineering College and take an auto to go to the Temple.
Shri Vaidyanatha Mama, who is the Chief Trustee has cleared many people's doubts. He is
an Ambal Upasagar. Pujas are conducted on Ashtami days and on Amavasya/Pournami. I do
not have the telephone number readily. Ambal would give you a solution. I have experience and
spent lot of money and chozhi, etc is not a proper solution. Malayala Manthrikam is not advisable.
