Iam saravananand working as a Pharmacist in Dubai and my age is 61. I love our temples, Hindusam, listen to upyansam like velukuddi krishnan. Iam having two sons married and having one kid each. My ambition to help downtrodden people without any caste, religious and always think of lotus feet of God. I want to discuss about all stories of our god and try to follow their instruction.
Everybody request god that they donot want one more birth. But Iam different. I want many birth to visit temples in India and listen about vedas, upyanasams, carnatic musics, councilling to patients
welcome Saravanan sir, I am also a pharma professional. i spent about 3 years in qatar[Doha] as a pharmacist in early 80's. Your justification to take rebirth is unique and that is setting me to remain in awe. Great drsundaram

can i get address of vadhiyar who does srartham

venkat,

you need to explain more as to what you want.

these one line postings (3 of them today) do not make sense, as people cannot read your mind.

you say you are retired defence officer. i am surprised that you do not know how to get a vadhiar in virugambakkam. go near any temple, and check around.

thanks

shri,

welcome to the club.

please note, that this forum club would like to focus not on 'receiving', as much as giving.

we wish you to participate, 'give' to the community in terms of your thoughts, inputs and views on any matter under the sky.

i think, if you expect folks here to cater to what you refer as 'Hindu culture, carnatic music, devotional music' you are in the wrong place.

just for starters, why don't you go through the various threads on even more various topics, select which ones you like, and pen a view or two there.

in this way, you establish your bonafide, and assure the membership that you are a serious member, wishing well being for our community, and partake from here, the morcels of your interest.

to do so otherwise, would not be quite in the spirit of this forum.

please let us know what you intend to do.

thank you.

Prouf to join the Tamil Brahmin community

I came to know about the TamilBrahmins website thru the Times Of India article. I always believe that the practices and sampradhayams that we have in our Brahmin community have a scientific reason linked to it. Iam here to explore and find the link between Religion and science. Looking forward to learn more about my Brahmin community.

Introduction

My namaskarams to all the elders and best wishes to the others.

I am TPR Rama Sarma hailing from Keralam. I have heard our ancestors say that five or six generations before our family migrated from Siddhamalli Gramam of Tamil Nadu, in search of greener pastures, indeed.

Presently I work in KSA. I am interested to know more about our culture and would like to be part of some activity that will help the community members. I am also interested to know more about our traditions.

I have decided to settle down in Trikkur village of Keralam where I have managed to build a small dwelling for myself and my family, after my retirement. Trikkur is a small village in the District of Thrissur. The presiding deity of the village is Lord Siva who showers His Mercy on all and sundry alike from an ancient rock temple atop a hill. He is lovingly referred to as Trikkurappan.

With regards to all.

Rama Sarma
