Hello to everybody

I would like to introduce myself as a new member of this Brahmin community. I saw their article in the times newspaper and was really interested to know more about the Brahmin community. Though most of life I have spent in Mumbai, Hyderabad and at present living in chennai since 2004. I have of queries in general which I will be asking in general, for which I would like to know sincere replies from the members.

I am Krishaswamy joined this forum today .I came to know about this site thro' Adyar times and I immediately registered myself. It is good to have a seperate website for tamil bramins wherein we can exchange our views/opinions openly. Thanks for the initiative taken by this website creator
 
Vannakam Everybody. I am Madhavi and I am from an island called Mauritius. In fact I was looking for some Slokas for Saraswati Devi For Saraswati poosai That is to be celebrated today when I came across this site through the net an immediately wanted to be part of this big familly.Thanks

Thank you for inviting/accepting me as a member of this family. I live in Bangalore, Karnataka. Our native place is Tanjore. I have sort of quit my profession as a Psychologist to practice and teach meditation. My new found interest is knowing our culture. I am sure I will learn a lot from this forum. Thank you again

Hi, read about the site in a newspaper today. Was impressed by the site and registered as a member. Thanks for accepting me. I belong to Karnataka and am presently based in Tamil Nadu, due to my job. Hope to visit the site often and participate actively on issues relating to the community.

I am a Tamil Brahmin proud to be so of the age of 31 years. I respect the vedas and Shastras that we follow and is interested in knowing more about it. I joined this site as I so an option of Matrimonial there. But now (I am still Single) I wanted to expand and get more into the root of our culture and our ethics, which I feel is becoming extinct in the society.

My name is V.Srinivasan and am aged 62 yrs. Professionally I am a marine engineer, now retired but teaching as a visiting professor.
