My self N Balasubramanian & my id is N_Bala. I am an engineering professional and working with L&T. I have son & daughter. Son is doing Mech Engg and Dau is in 7th.
I came on line to search some slokas and entered into this big community. The efforts to create such a forum is enormous and good luck for all the members.

I am Balachadran (id KRB1956), in Botswana since 1st Feb. 2015. I was looking for Amavsya Tharpanam Sankalpam and that is how I came to know of this website. The material available online for Rig vedis are apparently very limited. I am Arun. Chanced upon this website when I was searching for information on Sri Vidya Upasana and worship of Mahameru Sriyantram at home . I did find one but it was all in Tamil ...which unfortunately I dont know how to read...hopefully I will get some information some time in english /hindi/sanskrit.

I have two sons both living in Houston and one daughter living in Chennai. I keep shunting between Houston and Chennai.

I am a Chemical Engineer. I had worked in India for 26 years and in USA for 16 years. I am retired and right now engaged in running an e-business. I am trying to help people to perform pithru tharpanam anywhere in the world. I also find Muhurtham time for many of day to day functions at home for any client anywhere in the world.

Born on 03 March 1942 at Poonithura, Trippunithura, Kochi as eldest son of Perinkolam Subramanian Venkateswara Iyer, grandson of Appadurai Bhagawatar, and of TR Rajalakshmi of Gopalakrishna Bhagawatar (Bhagawatar Madom, Poonithura). Brought up at Urakam, Dist Trichur,Schooled in CNN BHS, Cherpu, and then graduated in Economics from St.Thomas College, Trichur. Moved over to Orissa to be with father who was a law books publisher (Cuttack Law Times) at Cuttack. Did MA Pol Sc from Utkal University 1962, worked as a teacher in evening college at BJB college, Bhubaneswar, and then Ravenshaw College Cuttack. Became a PhD student in Internatioinal Law at the Indian School of International Studies, Sapru House, New Delhi that merged with JNU New Delhi, PhD from JNU, first job in Delhi as Research Officer at the Indian Society of International Law, worked with VK Krishna Menon, the President of the Society. Married a fellow JNUite Vathsala from Madras who did PhD from JNU in International Economics. Appointed asst Professor in International Law at JNU in 1974.Finally ISRO Professor of International Space Law at JNU in 1990. During this period two stints as Legal advisor to the Republic of Nauru, Central Pacific 1981-1990. Led a legal team that took Australia to ICJ with a colonial claim for rehabilitation of phosphate mines mined out by Australia and won the case (1993). Part of the Indian legal team led by Soli Sorabji, then India's A-G, to ICJ in the Atlantique case brought by Pakistan against India in 1999. Took retirement from JNU to become the founder V-C of Gujarat National Law University 2004-7. Moved to Jaipur to the present position as director of School of Law, Jaipur National University, a private University. In 2013, I was awarded Prof. NR Madhava Menon Best Law Teacher 2013.

I have two sons, the elder one, Venkatesh is married and settled in New York USA. /the younger (31) Krishnan, is a PhD in History, still unmarried. working as a lecturer.
