I was searching for slokas and found this website. I am quite impressed with the amonut of information available here. It is great to see that so many people are following our traditions and trying to pass on to next generation. I am a Doctor by profession and I can see the scientific and reasons behind each and every tradition we Hindus follow and it is a gift by our ancestors to us. It is an excellent Brahmin website.

I am Krishnan. I was born at Thrissur in Kerala. After giving me the primary education, Thrissur said: "Get Lost". I then lost myself into the crowds of Calcutta (60 to 70s), into the Gangetic planes of Patna (70 to 80s) and through the length and breadth of Tamil Nadu, marketing fertilizers (RCF) (80 to 10s). At Coimbatore, where the long winding journey has halted for a while, I engage myself in writing, bhajaning and occasionally visiting Tiruvannamalai seeking the true identity of myself (Who Am I?). Though I have written two books (Thiruppugazh: Glory to Lord Muruga and Arut Prakasa Vallalar, the Saint of Universal Vision,), I consider that there is no greater achievement than realising one's own Self.

My paternal grandparents came from Salem and my maternal grandparents were from Coimbatore.
At 76 I a keep my self busy with some humanitarian and cultural work. I studied partly in South Africa and graduated at the University of Manchester. I am a founder member and the custodian of the Ammen Shakthi Temple in my little village/town of Lotus Park. I have am very keen to know more about the Tamil Culture and religion
I follow the teaching of Saint Ramalinga (Vallar) and have a very deep attachment to the Thirukurral.
