Dear Sir,

If you are a theist, why do you pray God /Goddess?

Please let the forum members be enlightened.

I go to temples all over the country -To pray ? - may be not I like the art culture etc associated with these temples When I see Meenakshi in வைரக்கீரிடம் my eyes look at the the artistic marvel and my mind may not be filled with Bhakthi When I listen to the songs by by மூம்மூர்திs - I am moved by the music rather than the Bhakthi rasa I have different concept I donot pray to gods for the wellfare of the world but would rather question the injustice that you see allaround - I donot fight over Gods as well I visit all temples with great artistic tradition both vaishnava and Shiva!

Who said the crime by the accused should be brushed aside as an act of fate?

I believe in fate but never ever think of letting the culprit free. :nono:

Who knows? The good fate of the culprit might help him to go scot-free!! :sad:

You know very well that the assassins of Sri. Rajiv Gandhi are still alive and

also supported by some political leaders, who request for their release!!

How do you justify that?

They were sentanced as per the law of the land and the SC was not guided by their Good fate!

On appeal to the Supreme Court, only four of the accused were sentenced to death and the others to various jail terms. S Nalini Sriharan is the lone surviving member of the five-member squad behind the assassination of Rajiv Gandhi and is serving life imprisonment. Arrested on June 14, 1991, she was sentenced to death, along with the other 25 accused. However, the SC confirmed that the death sentence was given to only four of the convicts, including Nalini, on May 11, 1999. Nalini, who was a close friend of an LTTE operative known as V Sriharan alias Murugan, another convict in the case who had been sentenced to death, later gave birth to a girl, Harithra Murugan in prison. Upon the intervention of Rajiv Gandhi's widow and Congress president Sonia Gandhi, who petitioned for clemency for the sake of Nalini's daughter in 2000, the death sentence was commuted to life imprisonment. Nalini was treated as a class 'A' convict from September 10, 1999 till the privilege was withdrawn in May 2010 after a mobile phone was allegedly recovered from her cell during a surprise check. She "regrets" the killing of the former Prime Minister and claims that the real conspirators have not been booked yet.[SUP][20][/SUP][SUP][21][/SUP] The President of India rejected the clemency pleas of Murugan and two others on death row, T Suthendraraja alias Santhan and A G Perarivalan alias Arivu in August 2011.[SUP][22][/SUP] The execution of the three convicts was scheduled for September 9, 2011. However, the Madras High Court intervened and stayed their execution for eight weeks based on their petitions. Nalini was shifted back to Vellore prison from Puzhal prison amidst tight security on September 7, 2011. In 2010, Nalini had moved the Madras High Court seeking release as she had served more than 20 years in prison. She argued that even life convicts were released after 14 years. However, the state government rejected her request.[SUP][23][/SUP][SUP][24][/SUP][SUP][25][/SUP] Interestingly, Murugan, Santhanand and Perarivalan, the three convicts condemned to death, claimed that they were not ordinary criminals but political prisoners.[SUP][26][/SUP][SUP][27][/SUP][SUP][28]

[/SUP] It is Tamil Nadu Politics played (Gandhis family included) that may be working in favour of the convicts and nothing to do with good fate of the convicts!

We can attribute the pain to fate..But we cannot allow the culprit to take lenience under any section of law and the maximum punishment should be meted out to him...There are several evidences that have been confiscated from the accused!

Madam, why should a theist pray at all? Theists equate god to parents (either a mother or father)... and surely an all knowing parent would understand the child's requirement !!

JJ you visit ajmer and nagore darga and churches of south goa also.

Listen to sufi music and choirs.Equally enchanting.

seen/ smelled/heard/ tasted/ touched whether He/She/It or

But we can feel their effects directly or indirectly!

We can't see electricity. But it is fatal even to huge elephants.

We see the Light produced by the electricity but not the Electricity producing the light.

We can feel the Heat produced by electricity but not see the electricity itself.

We can see the movements produced by electricity and umpteen other things done by electricity but not the Electricity itself.

Will the persons who challenge the existence of this All

pervading, All powerful, Formless, Unlimited, Energy named

as Nature or God, also doubt the existence of Electricity for the

same reason (that it is invisible) and dip their hands in

Long time back I went to Whitefield to watch the watch maker make watches out of thin air! ( I was a student - Sacred Hears Bangalore)
I should call that Ash Wednesday since the Magic Menu that day was Holy ash and Not watch The Huge crowd assembled were watching the watch maker with two eyes and got their holy ash religiously wondering how it came out thin air ! One lucky follower who got a watch during his last visit was proudly displaying that to me saying it was his Puniyam to have got the watch - Had he watched the watch he would have known about the watch maker - it was made by HMT I saw that and became a Thomas because the watch was not made by the watchmaker out of thin air more likely that it was pulled out from his bushy scalp Hair like a magician pulling out Rabbits from a hat. you dont need 3,5,7,9 or even 11 to realize what is happening!
