In Bhagavat Gita, Arjuna says inter alia that "let me be punished for a sin for having done ஜாதிகலப்பு which is cause for குல நாசம். Some brahmin parents are proud of their daughter choosing a compatible partner without their help and advice. How they coexist in the long run - whether in cohesion or in collision- is to be seen. In inter caste marriage the sufferer is always wife due to the change of circumstances -physical,financial ,emotional and idealogical. In brahmin community, a girl is fascinated by a boy by his heroics rather than boy's sublime love told or untold. A Kshatriya boy can easily entertain a brahmin girl by taking her in his fancy bike to Mamallapuram,whereas a brahmin disciplined boy can her to temple in a state transport bus and will come home for home foods. In my opinion let brahmin boys come forward to spend money to entertain home made girls with such a fervour as of a Kshatriya boy but with a sincere motive to marry. " For me you are ever rather than for fornication approach" is my view to curb exodus of Brahmin girls to the clutches of other caste's trap.
